Well no wonder cuz those two brands are owned by the same company. Essence is designed for younger ladies, girls in middle and high school, and Catrice is designed for women 😄
I've been using Essence for pretty much 2 decades. Catrice a little less long, but still. Their nailpolishes, lipliners, mascaras and (some) blushes/bronzers/highlighters are amazing.
Exactly!! The more people who know and purchase Essence and Catrice the more they’ll make their prices less affordable
It's been one of the most popular brands in the Netherlands since I've started make up (which is 13 years ago). Never really increased the prices luckily. Both are German brands and popular there and in the Netherlands. Fun to see its getting noticed in the UK as well!

Just wanted to let you know that the brush you’re using for packing on shimmer shades won’t help the intensity, you will also experience fall out. Stay away from fluffier brushes and use a flat brush for shimmer on the lid.
Nice to see someone using affordable products, too many other channels only use high end products which not all of us can afford! 😊
I love essence, it's crazy how good it is for the price
I use the no more I panda eyes mascara, and it lasts all day without crumbling. I work in the NHS and it doesn't budge even after long busy days ☺️

That lipstick would be a great light centre to use over your darker liquid lipsticks for when your lips are a bit too dry and chapped for using concealer for ur ombre!

Yeah I do think so 🤗 ive used their liquid ink eyeliner for YEARS before starting my makeup ig and stuff, although now im more into the Nyx liquid ink liner or Ofra Verified liner (way easier). I actually prefer Catrice a bit over Essence when it comes to foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, brow pencil and mascara even. But I do love the Essence lipliners I have, the eyepencils, lipgloss and the brow stylist set (2 brow powders in 1 case). Many people also love Essence mascara and I agree this video makes me want to buy and try more from them 🤗

I love essence, I haven't even watched the video yet but I've got a contour duo, I only use the contour powder, I don't really know what the light side is for as it's not a highlight, maybe it could do as a setting powder with a bit of coverage, I've got mascaras and I got an amazing bargain for 5p when I found a nude liquid lip in the sale box at Wilkinsons. I've had a foundation that was nice but too dark for me at the time, it'd probably be great now, and I have the concealer I've just noticed you using in this vid, it's amazing and I've got a few brow products, the pomade pencil is great but the superfine liquid eyeliner is honestly the best I've ever had, all of these products were about £3 or less. Essence is really one of the most underrated brands in the UK but I like it that people always compliment my makeup and I feel like I've got a secret little brand that they'd never think of using with it only being in wilkos

Essence and catrice usually rotate their range twice a year. Spring/summer and fall/winter, also we (germany) get a limited edition every 2-3 weeks. Do you guys get them in the UK?

LOVE the blue/teal combo!! I love Essence's lip liners and eye liners! Especially their waterproof black eye liner pen! The only problem with it is that it only lasts a month before it dries out but it's only $2.99!!
This is very interesting lol I went and watched all your old essence make up videos to find out what ones you love the most cause i need to get new makeup but I don't have the money for expensive stuff had everything in my cart and now I have to go find this stuff cause I need it. Love this! Def taking a trip to Wilko when I get the chance! I would love you to do an Avon testing video....I’ve loved Avon nail products for years and their makeup I’ve always found to be pretty nice and not too expensive, I’m intrigued to see what someone who is good at makeup thinks about their products though!!! x
Also.....how does anyone get mascara on their lower lash line neatly!! 😩😩😩 no matter what I try I end up looking like I’ve been punched in the face! I don’t know if it’s just me or the fact my lashes are too short for it to be easy!! :(
@@Liz-jz7dv hiya, after i do my top lashes i dont dip back into the mascara i just use what’s left on the brush, that way there’s not TOO much product on there. and if it’s a particularly wet mascara i just leave the wand out to dry up a bit before i put it on and then it’s not too wet. try to keep a light hand cx

In America they do a highlighter called "pure nude" in the shade "be my highlight" and OMG you would flipping love this!!! We can't get it in the UK tho 😭😭 I got mine from ebay which was very lucky but if you know anyone in the USA who can send you it then I highly highly recommended you do xxx
