What I did find funny though, is the broken laptop part; since I did the exact same thing to a non-productive member who made excuses at every meeting for not getting work done.
the point of the video is exactly this: the SM is NOT there to manage the team. S/he's there to facilitate, coach, remove impediments. A good SM is the opposite of this one. Fun for those that know Scrum properly
Scrum was born from the minds of actual programmers. Let's keep discipline as developers and programmers, implement Scrum in our daily activities, comunicate with the team, and keep managers out of the way.

Is it me, or is the manager not needed at all. What I mean is, if you remove the manager, how much performance will you get/lose really?
