When Mirabel is worried, the house cracks. It makes sense that she's like the embodiment of the magic and the house! When she put the doorknob on the house at the end, it gave off the same aura as it does when they get their gifts, which is why she is the embodiment of the house.

Like she did the cool door light with the house after rebuilding, she also moves throughout the house by using the homes magic. (Floor tiles, ramp stairs, Treadmill, ect) idk but it’s cool to think. Also not to mention the fact the house cracks when she started getting mad and sad at abuela. So it’s almost like her emotions also control the house,. The whole purpose of the movie was that she didn't need a gift to be special. I personally am happy that she doesn't magically get a gift at the end, that would ruin everything. I just think that, like abuela, she is the next candle holder, nothing more or less and that is PERFECTLY fine.

I tought that Abuela's gift was the magic tied to the candle and everyone got their gifts trough her. Later I tought that that gift went to Mirabel with the door handle. (Abuela got her gift because she needed to protect her kids so her love for them turned into gifts that they got. That is why they are losing their powers because Abuela is more focused on the magic and not her family where almost everyone who has some kind of emotional issue with her is loosing their gift. The reason why Mirabel didn't get the gift seemed to be because she was going to be next keeping their gifts alive after Abuela who was getting older)
another theory is that when you see her touch the candle she wipes her hand on her dress and when you see antonio get his gift he gets it and he didn’t wipe his hands and she could have just been wiping sweat of her hands but what if when you get a gift you need the magic in the candle to mix with your sweat to get a gift. anyways that’s just a random theory i thought of 🤸♀️

Has anyone noticed that she’s the only one in the movie that actually talks to the house? The door IN the house probably didn’t work because she tried the wrong door. I guess the door she needed to open was the front door but she couldn’t because through out the movie, the door automatically opened or she just asked it to open the door. So basically she just opened the wrong door.
To add onto that Mirabel was the only one to actually talk and communicate with Casita when everyone else just took what Casita handed them, like there coffee at the beginning, and did what was need to keep Casita up to date
Also at the end part when Mirabel ruturns the magic to Casita, the entrance/arc above the door had 11 butterflies representing each family member. But there is 12 members of the Madrigal family, so where was Mirabels? On the door, it shows that the last missing butterfly is on Mirabel's dress!!! :D

I haven't watched the video yet but my theory is that Mirabel's gift is that she can manipulate time. Her door appeared, then it disappeared, turning time back. She froze time to sing the song "Waiting for a Miracle". I think she can manipulate time without even realizing it.
