That's an extremely weak point. Being called a master manipulator is a weak af diss in the first place. It's almost not a diss. Manipulation is a huge part of battle rap. Manipulating narratives and storylines to your favor is what battle rappers do. So, from a competition standpoint, the master manipulator bar was a compliment.

By planting that seed early on he casts doubt on everything drake says afterward. And as time goes on and more of his claims are disproven and more of Kendrick's are supoorted it only strengthens the claim that all Drake can do is lie.

And this is why we listen closely whenever we listen to music. Drake makes so many contradictions and missteps in this damage control song that its even horrible defense.

2. If drake did feed kendrick false info that would in turn make drake a master manipulator that he proceeded to deny later in this same track.
3. He tells kendrick he should've fact checked yet proceeded to show he didn't fact check when he tried to insult kendrick for being molested which is weird af btw but it was Kendrick's mom that was molested and kendrick said on the same track 3 times that he wasn't molested, furthermore proving kendricks point about drake being a horrible fucking person.
4. drake keeps on fabricating this wife beater allegation but this never happened and this was already addressed because this allegation stemmed all the way back from 2014 whenever a rumor came up about kendrick allegedly assaulting a security guard in las vegas which kendrick went on the breakfast club and addressed it and said that it's not true and he doesn't even know how this rumor came up.
5. Name drops millie bobby brown which nobody mentioned her, "if i was pedo i promise i'd been arrested by now" "I'm too famous for the shi you suggested." Like that's not even a good way to defend yourself lmfaooooo.

I can't see a scenario where Kendrick wouldn't have receipts to back up his claims. I suspect Drake is desperate and this week is going to be a really bad time for him.

It really just sounds like two flawed humans going at it, in pretty iconic fashion. To me, this tension has been building for years. Back when I was really listening to mainstream hip hop, I always valued Kendrick over Drake, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think Drake bodied this one, especially if what he's saying about feeding Kendrick info is true. There really wouldn't be much room for a response.
Time will tell, but this was quite well written and delived. That A Minor to D Major bar was a jewel, in my opinion, and that weirdly enough stings to say because I chose not to follow either of these artists a while back (and even thinking that Kendrick was morally superior with some of the beliefs he has), but it is what it is. Let's see what happens next.
