I'm surprised you didn't make the Pokeball joke. 9/10 times, people see Trinket go in that little thing, they say "So it's like a pokeball". Also, no more "the bear waits outside".

Whatever deal Vax just made isn't one that he's going to come to understand easily, but having already seen the rest of this season already, I promise you, it kicks every ounce of ass and you are going to lose your fucking minds. It's gonna be stressful as shit for a little while but I guarantee it'll deliver. Also, I've watched as many good reaction channels that I can find for Vox, and you guys have the best reactions to this series, bar none.
16:16 Exactly. The Matron of Ravens was READY to snatch up Vax. You called it more than you knew. She was paying attention to the fact that he was in her temple going after her champion's armor, probably watching him the whole time. She's the goddess of Fate too, so she has at least some ability to see into the future.
The Raven Queen is neither good nor evil. She is neutral. Her purview is death and fate. I don't wanna say much more because you will get answers later.
I didn't watch the original campaign, but I believe that Vax multi-classed into paladin when he became the champion of the Mistress of Ravens. Thief-paladin is a potent combination.
that friends is a copy right free beholder XD but yes the raven queen allowed Vex to return to her body in exchange for Vax becoming her champion he belongs to her now :o to note the Raven queens not a devil, she's a goddess of death, and yes dealings with gods are never super clear and there maybe fine print you missed; but a god will use you to bring good in the end where a devil would use you to sew chaos and evil; Death isn't something to be feared it is the great equalizer, the one experience every living creature shares and that needs to be protected; that's what she does, just know what she does is for an ultimate good :3

I don’t think we can blame Percy here. Remember Vax has been seeing the Matron of Ravens since episode 1. It could be that his fate had always been to become her champion. However this decision will resonate and have repercussions all the way until the end of the story.
So no spoilers, but it wasn't always Vax's fate and we can actually blame Percy. He triggered the trap. Even Taliesin who plays Percy has said it was Percy's fault.
You don't always know for certain (at least from the start) if the entity you are dealing with is good or not. A skilled game master can leave you guessing.
