Yes, good idea. Previously I've not had such a problem with that nut, for some reason, but it's a really thin nut and with the extended socket it's very hard to hold on to.
Hi mate; I see that you changed the locking tab? The first one that you put is not to bend... Why not to do that with the engine into the frame loop? with the aid of the chain; gears and brake?
Mainly because I only had the engine, not the rest of the bike, but also because that nut is so tight, even with the rear brake on and the engine in gear, it usually still isn't enough to enable that nut to be tightened up fully when in situ. You also need to lock the chain with wood or a rag etc. - and sometimes that can wrap itself round the sprocket.
I've already ground several socket tapers off to accomodate the accursed Triumph shallow hexes.
