These tutorials are great, much more detailed content than others I've found. Avoiding the "watch this and copy" OR leaving it so opened ended that it's basically amounting to "practise and figure out your own thing"
im 20 years old and have been trying to get back into it. have not played competitive soccer since i was 15 so its been a while this videos was extremely helpful i had forgoten completely about the basics. keep up the good content.

Keep the videos coming. I like how you explained the technique, then introduce drills to work on what you just explained. Great sequence for the video.
At first it was easy and I started improving a lot as I added more steps it got difficult gauging the length of the steps but I found if you don’t focus on the other steps and only focus on the last one/two it worked every-time. This helped me with my issue of not following through so Thankyou! This helped me a lot 😊

I have short choppy steps to make sure I have consistency actually I get my angle on the freekicks and I back up a giant amount I do short choppy steps for a couple of feet until I get to the point where I speed up slightly with big steps I find it works better for me because I don't have to worry about distance from the ball and I've practiced so much I know I have to take 3 steps with the perfect distance if I don't do the choppy steps in the beginning I find I run up wrong and my 3 strides are not where they need to be.

Im 19 and Im a very slim guy for my height but Ive played since I was like 5 years old. People ask me how am able to shoot with power, because im pretty skinny. So they think im on drugs or something lol. Its all about using your body, and transferring the energy to your foot. If I start training more and going to the weight room, im pretty sure Ill have a serious bullet.

Do u think that the nike premier 2.0 or the Mizuno morellio neo 2 made in Indonesia be better if I want a tight fit, good lockdown and decent protection?
The Neo 2s are quite narrow, not sure on the premier as I have not tried them as of yet.
The Neo II will have the tighter fit and the better lockdown but the Premier will have a lot more leather on the upper. The Neo II will not fit like a traditional leather boot nor will it fit like the 'modernized' leather boot (such as the Premier).
The Neo is definitely a tighter fitting shoe.
Great video! I think the next one in the series should focus on how to correctly hit the ball with technique, and not just hit the ball as hard as you can

Hey man! I love this tutorial. My only real question is though it appears you plant your foot more in front of the ball. If you were lined up straight on to the middle of the goal, it looks like your heel is almost in front of the ball, versus most tutorials I see it seems like the toes are lined up with about the middle of the ball. Am I seeing this wrong? Now that I've seen you do it, I'm starting to think that's what I need to do! I am struggling :P So I guess what I am asking is, do you find that your plant foot is lined up more in front of the ball? Or would you say the ball would be about in the middle of your plant foot?
That will vary from person to person. It's something to play around with to see what works best for you. With enough reps, you'll naturally plant your foot in the same place without even thinking about it.
