I definitely am a pocket pen guy, and the XS is a very attractive option. I have a Piuma Pocket Ti, and i like the engineering of it. I don't particularly like the style of pen which has an exposed 'o' ring when closed (like the Ohto Tasche, Moonman N1, and now Tom's Studio etc etc) as they can easily split or fall off even in quite light use. Sure, replacements are dirt cheap, and a doddle to fit, but i don't expect to have to carry round spares for ongoing maintenance.
    Still a beautiful pen.

ēnsso pens are quite nice. I only have the Italia Titanium model with the titanium nib. Really love the precision and quality. I have to consider their other models.

I have one of these (with black nib/clip) and I really like it. Currently inked with Monteverde Zebra.

Haven't seen this model, but I certainly like my titanium minimalist pen of the same size.
    Thanks!

@3:04 "...as everyone knows, 4 inches is all you need" 😂

I received my ensso ultem several weeks ago. I eye dropper filled it with Pilot Iroshizuku Kon Peki. Definitely needs the silicon on both sets of threads as Steven pointer out: body to section and feed to section. I will say the Bock nib wrote horribly out of the box and it took considerable tuning to get it writing smoothly. I also have the titanium body - it wrote ok out of box. Nice pocket pens!!!

Neat little pen. The medium looks like it's a great performer.

The grip is a bit too thin for me on the XS, but I guess there is the Pocket Piuma for those of us with bigger hands and this one for those with smaller hands.

Can you change out the #6 Boch nib? I believe they’re only sold F and M, I prefer wider ink lay down.

I actually agree that 4 inches is all you need! It’s all about the motion of the ocean, ladies…. 😅

4 inches is all you need? That's not what she said!

This was very useful; thank you.
Also, the Pilot Metropolitan is a profoundly ugly pen 😀
