I've just bought this and look forward to reading it when I get through my backlog!
Heard great things and I hope it's not as convoluted as Final Crsis.

So I’ve only read final crisis itself not the omnibus but based on that I can say I felt infinite crisis was much less convoluted. I really enjoyed both but this is my favorite DC event that I’ve read, and with all the tie-in material in this omnibus it was definitely an epic experience!

This was a Beast! But, I’m so happy I had an opportunity to revisit this event with all the tie-in material. Really great DC event I left with a greater appreciation for this world 👏
I'm so glad you made review for this. I actually enjoyed reading this event especially the prelude and tie-ins. I would recommend doing 52 omnibus review since it is after Infinite Crisis event.

I’ve only read the first issue or two of 52 but I’m thinking that may be my next big DC undertaking we’ll see 😁📚
@@TheComicBookReport My favourite moments from this story was probably when Shadow Pact go up against the Spectre. Superboy vs Superboy-Prime and the whole Villains United.
@@Kal-Grayskull villains united was one of my most surprising joys in this collection myself really loved that miniseries and then the event itself obviously just rad. OMAC stuff was fun too I thought

I just got this book but honestly it will probably sit on my shelf for a while. I seem to go big on reading dc, marvel, or indie all at once and rig it now isn’t DC time for me lol

I am not the biggest fan of Infinite Crisis but I loved the Superman tie ins. Geoff Johns is a very good writer. I am surprised that you haven't reviewed Doomsday Clock.ln my opinion Doomsday Clock is a refined version of Infinite Crisis. He tackles a lot of the same themes . Geoff Johns clearly isn't a fan of the grim and gritty direction DC Comics has gone since Dark Knight Returns and Watchmen. I agree with him.
