Not a bad start to the year! Nothing is tore up too bad. I was going to say it looked like it was rolling over on the RR a lot and that made it difficult to drive in traffic. You also got hung up behind the 29 car for a bit. But the speed wasn't there and you brought it home in one piece. That's all that matters. Great start to the season!
Been following this channel for a long time from driving a go cart to throwing your sister cell phone off the second story of the balcony stepping into a limited sprint 360 and 410, I can honestly say that I’m impressed how much you’ve learned how far you advanced short period of time I really do see in the future a world of outlaw deal maybe in the future because your name is really getting out there now.
Great fun eh fella? It exciting to see the sprintcars again. NGL I kept looking at the cars with more red thinking last seasons 18T and forgetting your new colours. 😅 Never mind blitzing the pack. Just bring your car and yourself home in one piece and we'll always love it. BTW that wasn't a bad track was it?
That's the best of the best sprint car drives on the west coast. Missed the setup a little bit in the main. Carrying the front end up down the back stretch. But you didnt tear it up. Good 1st nite out.👍
Solid B+ effort for 1st race of the year in a new car. Some bright spots to build off of. Few mistakes in the main, clean those up and you've got a NARC top 5
Having watched your post race video first, that arm popping out of joint on lap four was key. But you drove through that to finish 8th. A good start to 2023 season. Keep up the good work.

Billy Dietrich had a PA video on the new 2023 2-direction tires with no camber.... The old tires were one-way rotation only with a camber. What tires are they running out west? WillyB
Tanner good morning from Kansas City. I watched your first race yesterday and I started to make a comment then I thought better to be quiet. But I thought about it alot and concluded I want to help you as much as possible. Having watched you race quite alot and being an ex-racer myself I thought maybe I might make some suggestions if it's all right. Here goes and this may mean something to you or it could be a nothing burger. You are your biggest problem. You over think everytime you get into the race car. You are analyzing constantly instead of allowing yourself and that race car to become one entity. Everytime you put your butt in that seat and strap in you and that car become one. I understand all the technical things and engineering it takes to manage a machine. Start feeling that car and where it wants to go everytime you push that right foot to the firewall. The whole idea in racing is always try to keep your race car going straight even when you are turning! It's like being a jockey on the back of a race horse. Listen to that horse, feel that horse under you , love on it and you will always be in control. One last thing your reaction time is not good enough when the flag drops. You give up to much distance at the start get more agressive. Those other guys when your are racing aren't your friends they want to beat you as much as you want to win. Now next time the flag drops the only thing you do is right foot to the floor and turn left when you need to and keep her headed in a straight line you will eventually see those turns become small straights. Lastly, flag drops never ever look back always ahead, make it a great day, jw

Front end looks light down the shoots qualifying and in heat. 8:20 *_"The dash pole sitter, and we are *ALL_*_ fighting for the top of 1 & 2"*_ *WHAT?* If indeed they watered the bottom before the dash, your competitors were obviously aware of it, and you were too busy making videos. You were the only car on the top of 1 & 2 as they picked you off running the bottom. You squandered a good dash pill draw.
That track looked pretty boring. Really only one fast line (top) and not alot of side by side racing. Lots of follow the leader. A top 10 finish is always pretty good though!!

I think your summary was just about spot on. A good solid first race of the year, lots of lessons to be learnt. Keep your head up and keep pushing.

You're right. The NARC guys are no joke, and you will learn a lot racing with them. I'd say a top 10 on your first night out is good.
