What if at the start of the Siberian intervention, Japan finds Alexei Romanov and makes him a puppet ruler of Siberia to justify their ongoing “intervention”? Yes Alexei Romanov is assassinated in July and the intervention starts in August, so either move the intervention forward a couple of months, or have the Czechoslovak Legion rescue Alexei and bring him to the Japanese. Either way, Japan should remain in Siberia after October 1922, with enough legitimacy so that America doesn't embargo Japan or force Japan's withdrawal, & Japan can pay for the “intervention” with Siberian gold/iron/gems/fur.

Man, this is a very interesting video. There is really no point arguing or trolling while hovering between ignorance and false pretensions. For those seeking answers, further accounts and sources on the subject regarding post WWI Turkey, there are plenty of credible works to delve into. Two notable books are “The Thirty-Year Genocide: Turkey's Destruction of Its Christian Minorities, 1894-1924” and “The Blight of Asia”.
The number of Greeks living in the Asiatic portion of the Ottoman Empire (Asia Minor) in the early part of the 20th century was approximately 1.780.000. The official ottoman statistics of 1910 had the figure at 1.777.146. In 1919-1922 the Greeks in Smyrna numbered 150.000, forming just under half of the population, outnumbering the Turks by a ratio of two to one. Alongside Greeks and Turks, there were sizeable Armenian, Jewish, and Levantine communities in the city. Constantinople numbered 260.000 citizens of Greek origin. The rest were scattered in urban centres of Cappadocia, Bithynia and the Pontic region. Note that these people were native in these lands with a heritage of millenniums. Only 1.200.000 civilians made it to mainland Greece. The rest were exterminated in what is registered as the “Greek genocide”.
I can feel the flow of Turkish Nationalists flowing in as we speak to say that any genocides that happened in this video, or in reality, in fact did not, lol.

It's honestly really interesting to me that Greece or the Byzantines reclaiming Constantinople is so popular with everyone. Maybe it's because the Ottoman Empire was so much closer to our time than the Byzantines/Romans were, having only fallen after World War 1, or it could be because of the ways that the successive Turkish governments have conducted themselves since, from the Armenian Genocide to the modern-day demonization of the Kurdish people
