Can you also add rune performance in the end? I'd like to see how much are they doing in the game, usually giant slayer always do the most dmg lol
Always find it hilarious when people still run Coup de Grace that puts up 1-300 damage while GS adds at least 10x more

@@warrensmith481 It's a last resort rune when you can't use giant slayer or last stand anymore. I recently played lucian against pyke support and kha jgl. The only champion that'll build hp is sett, so obviously coup will be so much better.
@@hey9974 even against an entirely squishy comp GS far out preforms Coup... honestly don't think there are any realistic scenarios where it's worth running
Love how Varus shreds tanks in this meta, feels very good. Good game!
This is almost the Varus build that I've been running since they changed Mortal to crit. The only diff is I run Collector for the lethality and 75% crit. I also use Lucidity boots just because you can pump out so many more arrows and ults and stuff with that huge 30 ability haste.
I always go on hit on varus for better 1v1 potential without my ult, also love that bit of tankiness. But lethality is best to snowball, nothing like 1 shotting squishies from max range q

I think the one counter to varus if the enemy gets QSS and block ur ult, I played once vs Draven and he got QSS my ult and just run me down.

I could just be very fortunate but I don’t think matchmaking has changed too much
I think CotSQ is better than EoN for Varus. Even on lethality builds, it makes more sense for Crown.
Since Giant Slayer is an op rune, you want less HP than your target for more damage. Edge gives 150 HP and 8 Lethality. Compared to Crown, you get 20 Haste, 400 Mana, & 7% magic pen. The stats are generally better as Lethality falls off compared to magic penetration.
Another reason is the cooldown refund on Crown that Edge doesn't have. Since Varus attacks, blight stacks, empowered arrow, and ult deal magic damage, you can get the spellshield back faster in a fight than you would with Edge.
Oh, and Crown is 150 gold cheaper than Edge. And since Varus scales exceptionally well with completed items, getting that power spike a bit faster is very meaningful.
The HP logic of second para doesn't work in wr ig works in pc lol where there is cut down
In wr giant slayer deals damage based on your opponent's bonus hp, doesn't matter how much you have. That's why it's super strong in wr. But imk they shouldn't nerf it, it's to punish tanks so it shuld be strong lol

Is the phase rush build good? I've been using the build in the video, full ap, and a hybrid build with ruined king mashor and rm. Thinking of trying the plahse rush build.

Its useful to survive when you want to go in and out fast but...
the speed doesn't last long.
the CD is achievable with rune and the speed can be used in spells for 8 seconds minimum.
