I used to live next door to our big Catholic church and my grandfather was a custodian there so I got to go in when it was empty and I loved to get down on the floor and look under through all the pews; I loved all the different perspectives in the quiet.
This is the best video about Saturn's return I have ever experienced. The content and depth is amazing. Have I experienced Saturn's return. Yes, twice. You are a gifted teacher, Adam. A bunch of thanks from Denmark.
I’m in 2nd Saturn return - Aquarius 4th house. My life resembles all you’ve illustrated. It really is a depleted “ending-ish” time for me in many ways, yet a rich and deeply soulful time with realizations that can only come with age. So helpful and reassuring to have your perspective.
Wow. Wow. Wow. Thank you for your depth and wisdom in this offering. I was wanting to understand more about Saturn return, and this popped up today. In my first Saturn return, I had completed my masters degree, my mother died, my family disowned me, I married, separated, and came very close to taking my own life. I’m now in Saturn return # 2-> 11 degrees Capricorn in the 11th house. I’ve had vertigo the past three days and can listen to stuff as long as I don’t move! I think there may be some recent squares, ie: Neptune 7 degrees in 8th house, Scorpio. I have no idea what that means. I’ve been going through anxiety about who to keep in my life and who to let go of. Similar theme as 1st return, but from a more empowered, softer, and intentional perspective. I find what you have shared here illuminating and comforting. ❤️🙏🏼🌹
Wait wait wait..."if you have a taste for Saturn...marriage is beautiful" ."if you have any tolerance for pain, any love for winter.." Love this, lol! Love love love
I resonated with this a lot before my Saturn return. Maybe I brought in on myself as I had a strong urge to get myself together for what is really important and face all my truths I do have a tenth house stellium Thanks for this awesome video 💕
Fascinating. Saturn is my ruling sign so it has a strong influence on me but I love it. Not only is Saturn associated with the first Tarot card depicting the Path of the Spiritual Seekee, The Devil, but also the final 7th card...The World. Not only is it the limitation but it's also the liberator.
Journeying through my 2nd Saturn return currently and it stands at the top of my natal chart. Saturn just started moving forward and I just finished listening to you. Priceless. Starting to understand the 2nd return. Thank you
So happy to have had this suggested by YT today. This evening Saturn returns exact to when I was born. 2nd time around. Decided to start a family at my 1st return after a couple of death in our families. Nighttime chart but Saturn is at the top in my 9th house. Appreciating the freedom I have now in my life after raising my children, uncertain as to what comes next. Future is wide open. Thank you Acyuta.
Looking forward to Part II. I am heading toward my second Saturn return; my niece just finished her first. I am now in a place where I am trepidatiously welcoming the lessons of Saturn. Very interesting and worthwhile content. Thank you!
'...There is a special providence in the fall of a sparrow. If it be now tis not to come. If it is not to come it will be now, The readiness is all. Since no man of ought he leaves knows ought what is't to leave betimes. Let be.' Hamlet. The beauty of Saturn; my thanks for your words, your presence. Blessings 🙏
Thank you for all your high quality content I look forward to all your teachings. If you are taking requests ;-) I would love to hear more about the Saturn cycle. The opposition, the squares..... as I reflect, I see the saturn cycle played out in my own life and would love to hear your take on it. Again.... thank you Adam.
I have work with astrology since I was a teenager and now i have my second Saturn Return and today I looking forward to have transits of Saturn. I am born in the very North here in Sweden so I have my Asc in Cancer (14) and my MC in Capricorn (21) and Saturn in capricorn ( 4 )….so I have learn a lot from Saturn...it has really mature my soul, mind and spirit. I really like your way to explain the Saturian things. Thank you.
As PK I love your PK stories. Sanctuary in the church was just beautiful. Your father taking you there igniting your own Saturnian return was just beautiful. I have Saturn in my 12th house conjunct a stellium of 5 Libra planets. I have also passed Saturn return TWICE. I find here and a lot of folks still tend to focus on the first return which is as you say here, an entry into adulthood, a rite of passage and maturation... BUT then there IS a second and sometimes third. We need a new language for the second return that takes these ideas further. Don't you think?
Thank you for this better understanding of Saturn ♑️ . Went through my 2 nd Saturn Return to then Saturn in my sign of Capricorn. And what a rodeo ride! Triple Cap at that also.
I know this is from a long time ago but just hearing it now. I’ve just moved back to the South after being in the Bay Area for 25 years. The term “God fearing Christian” has entered into my local lexicon. It occurred to me hearing this how Saturn that vision of God is. The disciplinarian rather than loving side. It’s funny how astrology challenges my prejudices and helps me see an old thing in a new way. Quite beautiful actually.
Found out I have been in my Saturn return since 12/21/17 according to one website and 2/21/19 according to another. Both of the sites state 12/21/20 is when the cycle is complete. Considering this last year has been the best of my life I can say a Saturn return can be really fun, productive and expansive. My life has gotten much richer, deeper, calmer, and much more productive with a lot less mental and physical stress over the last year. Don't buy the horror stories about Saturn return, there is gold in there!!!
@@tulabean2297 your Saturn return began in Capricorn in 12 / 2017..it is said that Saturn returning to its home sign either here or in Aquarius, is actually ' easier ' given that you are born with Saturn here.. Regardless, I enjoyed hearing of your experience ..
Loved this!!!! Thanks. I am not one that asked for this video, but I appreciate it! I watch a handful of astrologers and your content is by FAR the best and most unique! You are easy to understand and listen to. I am hoping I can afford your class next year! I really look forward to all of your videos and I have my notifications turned on!!
I’ve really enjoyed your videos. This is the most real video I’ve seen of yours. Clearly I don’t know you, but this somehow felt like a more authentic you. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it’s evident you’re passionate about it! ✨
HI Adam, first time watching your channel.. mind blown! My 2nd Saturn return is in January 2020 and I believe it's in conjunction with Jupiter. I think my Saturn is 23 degrees Capricorn and Jupiter is 29 degrees Capricorn. It's no accident that I found your channel. Thank you for the info. I look forward to viewing more of them.
Thank you, very insightful. Have had two painful Saturn returns, the second was worse. It’s worse again when Saturn is in the same sign as your sun, and has hard aspects to other planets.
33rd comment! My Saturn return is exact the Pluto Saturn conj in January. Well aspected as I'm literally ALL Earth and water. I have 3 outer planets including north node in 2nd house capricorn. Pretty nervous but I'm working extremely hard and making more money than I ever imagined. Had to sign on TH-cam for a while. Wish me luck!
Beautifully said, Adam! I'm one of your readers with Saturn Return at the moment (I'm 58) - Saturn at 17 Cap (opp Mars at 16 Mars... major opposition in my chart! But it's also close to my Jupiter at 9 Cap, and kind of trining my Pluto at 8 Virgo and my North Node at 10 Virgo, and sextiling my Neptune at 10 Scorpio). In Capricorn, it's a strong planet in my natal chart. I've long been familiar with Saturn's stoicism and hard-won (but indelible) lessons! As I said yesterday, my first Saturn Return did bring a few things to an end, but it opened so many doors! My life before 27 was completely different from what it has been over the last 30 years or so! It's interesting to hear what you say about the Saturn Return starting when it enters the Sign! Those 2 to 3 years were incredibly momentous and completely changed everything! But I've just looked back and realised that Saturn was travelling with Uranus for a long time and then with Neptune, and then it met up with the North Node entering Capricorn, while Neptune and Uranus continued getting closer and closer to each other as Saturn left them behind and went into Aquarius. And my life settled (comparatively) as I made some big decisions! This time round, Saturn has been travelling alone on his way to meet Pluto and waiting for Jupiter to catch up with them both (while making some sextiles to Neptune and some trines to Uranus) - but the Nodes have also been travelling through the Capricorn/Cancer Axis, but the other way round - this time it's the South Node in Capricorn. I guess that makes all the difference! I'm experiencing this second Saturn Return very differently - it's been much more of a TESTING TIME - I feel like I'm being hardened in a crucible - it's more like a 'make or break' kind of feeling... The Saturn influence feels more pure (less coloured by the surprised of Uranus and the dreams of Neptune) and perhaps more coloured by the issues of power and deep transformation embodied by Pluto (I guess Jupiter will stress that even more when it goes into Cap at the end of the year). I have been facing the 'mistakes' and the things that 'have not gone right' quite starkly, but I feel a lot more STUCK with them this time round (then I did 30 years ago, when Uranus and Neptune and the North Node kept opening doors). During my first Saturn Return I only had one pass. It later went over my Venus (28) and MC (29 Cap) only once too, and it went into into Aquarius without coming back into Capricorn. During this second Saturn Return, I have 3 passes (Feb, July & Nov this year), then Saturn goes into Aquarius in March, only to come back into Capricorn in July and then back into Aquarius in Dec next year - thus going over my Venus and MC 3 times too. I guess it is not leaving anything behind without double checking !
Saturn was in a 2nd waxing square when my marriage starting falling apart. The next month after it finished, I decided to separate which progressed into my divorce after 20 yrs. Horrible period of my life and 3 yrs later, I'm finally feeling much better emotionally and like that decision will extend my life. I felt like a heaviness lifted from me when I left. I know as painful as it was, that it was the right decision. My ex agrees and we had a peaceful divorce and coparent well together 💕 I don't know if I'll ever experience love again but it's not a focus anymore. I'm able to supply myself now. Be blessed yall
Very very interesting! What when it feels like your entire life has been a Saturn return? At least in the relationship area. I’m now in my second Saturn return and I’ve had a very successful professional life and I always had and still have a very good financial situation. Everything in this area have been easy and I’ve been lucky even if I also been working hard, I had no obstacles in this area. However, my private relationship life have been one of blockages, restrictions and a big fat NO. This is still making me very sad and frustrated. I’ve never really wanted a great professional career or much money, it has almost just come to me. The only thing I wished for is a fulfilling relationship and my own family. But nope never happened regardless of the sincere effort I’ve been doing in this area. Explain this to me please Adam ☺️😉 Waiting for part 2 🙏❣️
Rebecca Skalare : O! How I share your questions, thoughts, reflections and longing unanswered. Wow. Bless you and all the love you surely deserve to come forward at this point on the road, and forward. 🙏🦋🙏
How was your first Saturn return :)?And where exactly(house) is your Saturn may I ask? Im very curius about saturn return experiences. For the relationship theme: I think it depends on your 7th house and 4th house in the natal chart and the planets which are in in. So what sign and planets is your 7th house and where are its rulers? Also sometimes the soul wants to experience certain things later in life, that can be seen in the chart too.
Makes so much sense my Venus square Saturn 6.03 and Saturn opp Medium Coeli 6.45 just had my spleen and part of my pancreas removed love your insight always thank you.
What about 62 years old? Too old, right? My inspiration has been sabotaged for years. (I’m disabled with Lupus which is triggered by stress). I still have a desire to keep myself fulfilled with activity. Finding that activity has not been found in my opinion. I never lived this dark side for so long before, dealing with Lupus flare ups (especially painful arthritis) keeps me idle. This drives me crazy! Should I be grateful for the little things now? There’s a negative feeling I can’t let go. Saying ‘no’ doesn’t fulfill me. You make a lot of sense. Thank you!
Have had two horrible Saturn returns. Divorces, career changes, moving and or loosing houses, basically, life upended both times, such a feeling of oppression. Natal Saturn at 29 Cap. Gemini Sun and rising.
I'm all air and water (Pisces sun, Gem moon and rising) with Jupiter in Sag so I definitely see Saturn as a friend. While most people start settling down around 30, I've enjoyed an extra decade of being footloose and fancy free lol.
Thank you so much for sharing very insightful and inspiring.I get like that by my habits and the way I have been eating..it doesn't feel good that I dont have the resources I want to get better food ,I need to eat better definitely..I didn't know some of those things about Saturn return.Capricorn is in my Saturn.
Thank you for this video! As your student these "extra" planetary lessons are the cherry on top! I just learned that the Saturn return begins when the planet enters the whole sign that it was in at time of birth. This transition begins for me next March but won't be exact until 2022. That's a LONG TRANSITION! Can I please pass go and collect $200?
Still have negative thoughts around Saturn....ruler of bones and skin....have broken most of mine and for some reason at age 59 I'm experiencing in growing hairs on my neck most hurtful skin irritation ever.....not fond of Saturn.....but did get some really good insights about the word NO....lol...ty👌✌💜💙💚
I'm going to do something creative today with all the deep insights shared in this video. Perhaps an homage to winter as we move to Spring, acknowledge that it snowed A LOT last night. I love winter. I would love to be married again. 2nd return. Thank you. 🙏
You say that Saturn Return begins the moment Saturn enters the sign of your natal Saturn. But what if it then retrogrades back out of the sign... is the Saturn Return period temporarily halted? (Saturn in Aquarius here... Saturn will dip into Aquarius, then dip out just as fast next year)
Hi Adam, Was feeling a lot about what you're saying and looking on the bright side of that this time around.. I did feel something similar between the ages of 27-30, unfortunately I ignored it back then, but was certainly aware of it.. As far as being remembered, we won't be for long after we leave.. That said, I just returned from a visit to Graceland.. Elvis died 42 years ago, and he was alive for only 42 years.. To this day almost 1 million people from 55 countries from all over the world tour Graceland each and every year.. Half of those folks are under 40.. Like George Washington, Lincoln, Bach, Shakespeare and a few others, Elvis may be one of those rare individuals who will live on for several 100 years.. That is, if we as a planet survive.. I don't think we have any of his first generation fans who are still young enough to make the trip.. America is still a great place, but should a madman be re-elected next Nov. 2020, America will be just a story to tell to new generations of what a dream it once was..
From the way you presented this it seems as if you're having marital issues. I hope everything works out for the best Adam. Saturn isn't easy for anyone. Even when well-placed, of the sect, and ruling fortunate houses. He won't be as rough, and the end results may be better, but he's still Saturn and will do Saturn things.
Haha. Not at all actually. I'm very blessed with a happy marriage. I was just using marriage as an example. And in a very human sense...marriage is spiritual work..nobody is exempt from that even if you do have a healthy and happy relationship!
Just looked ahead to my saturn return in pisces 2025. Saturn hits my natal, moves into Aires…. Thennn retrogrades & stations direct exactly conj my natal saturn once again. (Why am i not surprised? Almost every retrograde this yr - 2022 - has been exactly sq or conj a natal (personal) planet). I’m excited…. Bring it on ‼️ Also interesting what u say about the sun-saturn battle… my sun is sq saturn in the natal chart, interested to see how this may play out during the return. Thx!
I think the only dark thing (but not in a sinister way) is that people's versions of events are forgotten. Not just because this changes history, but because it negates life's complexities. My first Saturn return underpinned my leaving Britain for 2 years and I've never liked back on that, I still like travel probably better than anything else I do. My second was awful, as I lost all hope for my political ideals, I'm a communist. It coincided with the Pluto/Uranus square , Saturn in my sign and Neptune goning into in Pisces, a transit I still find really difficult, as there's only one water sign in my chart, Uranus retro in Cancer. I came through it all for the most part, and as I was devastated by then Syrian war, that I'd seen coming, for years. I began researching Syria's history and I'm writing a book and learning Arabic. I really like your take on Saturn it makes real sense.
Excellent vision of Saturn's return! I found, as a Capricorn ascendant, that when Saturn passed over my ascendant it was the true Saturnian return for me (51 years). I would like to know your opinion on this situation, considering it relevant for this topic. Thank u!
My Saturn Is can jump to my South node in my 8th house. My 1st Saturn return was life changing. I got sober. 28 years later I am still sober. But I'm wondering what my 2nd Saturn return might hold for me. A little nervous but optimistic.
Having just a lovely #2. Saturn 23 deg Cap, Jupiter 27 Cap 2nd house. Divorced hubby #2 (decided I valued respect more than eating:) so I packed and moved while he was out of town back in February. Now trying to figure out how to pay for myself. (Did I mention I had to move back in with ex #1 upstairs?) Definitely need to find a way to pay for myself and fast! LOL
Can you see the seeds of Saturn’s destruction right after he finishes his return? Like he sets things in motion....Or have I been blaming Saturn all this time for fate it had nothing to do with?
Hi Adam, that was a really great analysis of 'saturn returns' part 1 Im looking forward to part 2, and if you want to use my chart as an example, you are very welcome. I have saturn at 29 degrees of Capricorn conjunct jupiter at 4 degrees of Aquarius. I'm about to have my 2nd saturn return in my 6th house, so I'll be very interested to know more about what this could mean. If you want my time and place of birth, don't hesitate to ask. Many thanks 🙏🏻
Old father time , Saturn it's maturaty it's hard lessons we learn . Having Saturn in Capricorn my fourth house has been that hard lesson . The house of nurture house 4 and Capricorn its influence the cold feeling like the cukcoo in the nest . A house that lacked parental love and guidance , parent's hard workers . The darkness the no place of nurture is that very essence I turn it round to nurture I export in my life , the maturity and boundaries with Saturn's lessons . I have Jupiter conjunct ic , I wondered in a previous life I came from a wealthy family and the foundations I have been given in this life is to be humble and orginary . My relationship with my father and mother was very difficult . It is now how I reach out to others , people , animals , clarity to be my best ...
Hello...Adam....I am aries ascendant...lagna Lord Mars exalted in 10th house capricon...10th Lord Saturn in 8th house Scorpio.... exchange yoga between Mars and Saturn....having exalted Mars but still not much happy with career....when will I get that hike in career????????? DOB: 16-10-86...Time of birth: 19:07 PM...place of birth: Amreli Gujarat India
My Saturn return murdered my husband. He was decapitated at work. His South Node conjunct Ed by transit my Saturn in 8th. I'm an 8th house Sun. I lost my mind for about 3 years. Back then, I had no clue about astrology. I just felt the Gods hated me.
Best dsy in long while. Sag raising. Saturn Cap in 1st rules 2 house. Seriously great work day. Second return saturn. Jupiter return. Jupiter has not help me this year.
Holy moley, Adam. You outdid yourself -- though I often say that!! :-) Thank goodness for Saturn, I say. A quick thought: Isn't Saturn (Kronos) Jupiter's father?
My saturn pluto and jupiter are together in 1st house in libra. Funny jupiter 7 degrees more to scorpio still in 1st house. I’m confuse 🥴 My cappy is between half in 3rd house and half in 4th house (sun kethu venus Rx and mercury are there) I feel crazy Mars in libra at 12th house 🤦🏽♀️
I loved this. I have always had Saturn on my back. I’m 60. I have Saturn in Capricorn at 3 degrees and 29’ what does that 29’ mean? What does that 2nd number mean period on all of my planets?
I have a question for you to add to your next Saturn discussion. I have my Sun 13 deg, & Saturn 26 deg in Cancer 6th house, born 9:19 pm. Could you discuss having Saturn in Sun sign? Does in make the return harder? Also, I had an astrologer tell me first thing in a reading "Hon, I know why you are here and no you are not going to find the love of your life! Is that why? Thanks.
Yes, your Saturn Return lasts as long as the planet is in that sign (so for anyone with Saturn in Capricorn, it will last until Saturn leaves Capricorn for the final time in this cycle, in December 2020.)
So is Saturn then related to people around us dying? For instance, I’ve lost a lot of people in the last 8 years. I am learning people/situations aren’t permanent. I guess this is Saturn?
The best presentation of the “Saturn returns” I have ever heard! Thank you, Adam, thank you!

Thank you for another insightful discussion .
Adam, I love your delivery on every level, the way you bring it through you and through your experience. Much appreciated 🙏
Explain this to me please Adam ☺️😉
Waiting for part 2 🙏❣️
I would love an episode on your Uranus opposition
Awesome...I have heavy saturn and I absolutely love what how you explained this content.
Thank you Adam, you have such a beautiful flow of your delivery of information.
So grateful you’re here🙏🏽❣️
What about 62 years old?
Liked the end of the party metaphor.
I'm all air and water (Pisces sun, Gem moon and rising) with Jupiter in Sag so I definitely see Saturn as a friend. While most people start settling down around 30, I've enjoyed an extra decade of being footloose and fancy free lol.
Thank you for making this video. My moon is in Sagittarius. I can't wait till Jupiter returns to Sagittarius in early November 🙏👌🏼
Going through my first Saturn return!!!
Capricorn sun, Leo moon, Aquarius rising!
Saturn Sun Saturn!
27?
Thank you so much for sharing very insightful and inspiring.I get like that by my habits and the way I have been eating..it doesn't feel good that I dont have the resources I want to get better food ,I need to eat better definitely..I didn't know some of those things about Saturn return.Capricorn is in my Saturn.
Excellent content. Looking forward to part 2. Appreciate your insights.
Please do a part 2 and 3 !!
Adam, Truly brilliant prenetation. Thank you! Dr. Tom
@Sadia Sharmeen thank you for the reply.
2nd return. Thank you. 🙏
Thank you for this video.
@@Adam-Elenbaas Glad to hear it! Very true.
Bring it on ‼️
Also interesting what u say about the sun-saturn battle… my sun is sq saturn in the natal chart, interested to see how this may play out during the return.
It coincided with the Pluto/Uranus square
, Saturn in my sign and Neptune goning into in Pisces, a transit I still find really difficult, as there's only one water sign in my chart, Uranus retro in Cancer.
I came through it all for the most part, and as I was devastated by then Syrian war, that I'd seen coming, for years. I began researching Syria's history and I'm writing a book and learning Arabic.
I really like your take on Saturn it makes real sense.
Wow. This really spoke to me. I need to order a reading.
Excellent vision of Saturn's return! I found, as a Capricorn ascendant, that when Saturn passed over my ascendant it was the true Saturnian return for me (51 years). I would like to know your opinion on this situation, considering it relevant for this topic. Thank u!
Thank you Adam. I am in my 2nd Saturn return. I have Saturn retrograde at 17° in Capricorn in the 5th house. Daytime chart.
My Capricorn is also square Mars in Aries.
Saturn
Very interesting. Thank you!🙏
My Saturn Is can jump to my South node in my 8th house. My 1st Saturn return was life changing. I got sober. 28 years later I am still sober. But I'm wondering what my 2nd Saturn return might hold for me. A little nervous but optimistic.
It is conjunct my south node, Close enough to jump it...lol
Hi Adam, that was a really great analysis of 'saturn returns' part 1
Im looking forward to part 2, and if you want to use my chart as an example, you are very welcome.
Next year is my Saturn return I will be 30
Some "holy shit!" insights. Thanks again!
I'm experiencing the Saturn opposite saturn, conjunct node, transit. I don't like it.
Faithful One ditto
Thank you Adam!

Saturn: When you've made a mistake thinking you can do anything at all.
Holy moley, Adam. You outdid yourself -- though I often say that!! :-) Thank goodness for Saturn, I say. A quick thought: Isn't Saturn (Kronos) Jupiter's father?
Is that Saturn? That peace in solitude... I have Saturn in my 1st house 😊
For those born in sthrn hemisphere. Saturn is a mid summer experience. Any comment Adam on this.
My saturn pluto and jupiter are together in 1st house in libra. Funny jupiter 7 degrees more to scorpio still in 1st house. I’m confuse 🥴
My cappy is between half in 3rd house and half in 4th house (sun kethu venus Rx and mercury are there) I feel crazy
Mars in libra at 12th house 🤦🏽♀️
Well, that's so beautiful!
Is Saturn trine Jupiter in the birth chart is as beautiful as the conjonction?
Part 2?
I loved this. I have always had Saturn on my back. I’m 60. I have Saturn in Capricorn at 3 degrees and 29’ what does that 29’ mean? What does that 2nd number mean period on all of my planets?
Everything is defined by what it's not
I have a question for you to add to your next Saturn discussion. Thanks.
My Saturn and the station Saturn are at the same degrees, is there any thing significant with this?
10/10/1954 3am Toledo Ohio ..Adam can u tell me when is my Saturn return?
Good talk,👊
If Saturn is in retrograde, does it extend your Saturn Return?
Yes, your Saturn Return lasts as long as the planet is in that sign (so for anyone with Saturn in Capricorn, it will last until Saturn leaves Capricorn for the final time in this cycle, in December 2020.)
Acyuta-bhava Dasa thank you!
So is Saturn then related to people around us dying? For instance, I’ve lost a lot of people in the last 8 years. I am learning people/situations aren’t permanent. I guess this is Saturn?
I have experienced several losses and I see it coincide with planets transiting my 8th house.
I’m 52 and I have Saturn retrograde in Aries at 29 degrees... when will I have my Saturn return? 9-1-67 Miami 4:02am
You can look forward to it starting February 13, 2026!
