Great suggestion! We are working on a few videos that could help with brush plating. They are just in the works, it takes awhile to get all the information and make sure everything is correct and that people can understand it while covering everything.
@@GoldPlatingServices i would like to see, the limits you can brushplate, ( i mean the most dificult parts/jobs you can do) beacause brush plating is much more cheap, but at the same time you can't plate anything with this style... i brush plated a lot of chuch items like Icons and such, and very few of them were easy jobs...
I understand what you mean. Very detailed and intricate pieces are very time consuming and some people use a masking to help them but it will always take a long period of time and work to get things like that plated.
You would have to get it tested to see how much gold is plated onto an item. So you would have to do the calculations to see how long it would take and at what voltage/current you have to plate at to get 5 microns onto an item. Then you would have it tested to see if 5 microns actually plated onto your item then you could plate the rest once you know.
i wish you do all the in's and out's of brush plating solutions to, this was very informative, and i am over 10 years into gold plating ! nicely done!
