Hard times join a marriage, a marriage itself shouldnt be the source of the hard times.
She not staying at the house because she is not happy. She does love him. He is upset that she is not staying with him because he feels rejected by Nat. Thus making him feel unloved. She gave the gifts away because she probs does not need them or it was something she did not want. And she gave it to someone who wants them rather than have the gifts sat in the back of the cupboard collecting dust. Then Mike interpretation of this was she doesn't love me because she doesn't like my gifts. They have really poor communication. I can relate to Natalie because I am kinda like that. But I have learnt to see Mike's perspective. I feel like the issue could be sorted if Natalie was happy. She said earlier that she does not like living in his house because it effects her mental health and I see that. Maybe they could move and she would be happier and stay with him. But Mike has said he is not willing to do that. Making Natalie feel unheard and that Mike doesn't care about her wishes and wants. She tries to solve it by staying at her friends because Mike has refused to compromise which in turn hurt Mike. I would not say she is a villan like the presenter tried to make out. It is just a complicated situation because the human heart is complicated.
I remember when Mike initially called off the wedding with cold feet and all. People trashed him for that but I feel that would’ve benefited both parties
It wouldn't have been bad if he didn't do it on the day of or the day before.
