Does Need For Speed: V-Rally Hold Up? | PlayStation Review

Hello and welcome to Camp Xtras. Today we are looking at a PS1 racing game, Need For Speed: V-Rally, which is technically not even a Need For Speed game. This is a rally racing game, which I generally like, but does this one hold up?

I always wondered if V-Rally branding was meant to only make Need for Speed the most popular racing series and once the sixth gen exploded with PGR and Gran Turismo popularity that every car manufacturer wanted to have the piece?

The best thing about that game was it was the only game that you could make your own tracks which was sooo much fun.

Unfortunately that wasn’t added till the sequel, but Im excited to cover that one!

@CampXtras ah. See, it's been over 20 years so easy mistake, but was a great feature tho. I haven't seen any game do it since either.

The V-Rally 2 is way holds up with many countries including my country Indonesia, with some decent rally categories of 4WD, 2WD, and classic with three modes Arcade, Championship, and Rally Mode, plus it has track editor for PS1!

"Game too hard" is a take I guess. For me this is one of the best racing games of its generation
