Glad your OK..... Always appreciate you stopping by to watch. I'm making some longer videos for background music for the holidays. Just look for "FOCUS" music on the thumbnail.... the last one is set to Piano with views of Iceland

It was definitely a rough start, but it humbled me and definitely tested my limits. It was such an awesome experience. Ill check it out!

I can’t believe I’m only stumbling across this now. What a fantastic video! You were an inspiration to all of us with your lofty ambitions and your perseverance and your exemplary attitude. Thank you for giving me the Birdseye perspective, Zachary. Although it was an amazing experience supporting you guys from the ground, I sure wish I could’ve been up in the air with you. Maybe next time. I’m watching your second video now. What beautiful stunning imagery. Thank you for chronicling your journey.

Hell yeah brother! It's my dream to share these experiences as best I can to share the love I have for our awesome support and community! I'm moving to CONUS in June, so I hope to fly with you soon!

Thanks! This whole trip was much easier thanks to all the work you put into XCNav. Hands down the best PPG XC app out there and it's only getting better!

Anyone can make a list of coulda woulda shouldas here, respect for sharing the details. You are a warrior getting back up and figuring it out! A PPG hero in my eyes brother.

My knees definitely paid the price, but the reward of the incredible experience and time with this awesome community was well worth it! Thanks for the flattery!

Nice job Zak. I wish I had tried going low from Beatie. I tried 100ft but not less…should have. Nice video! Keep ‘em coming!

It was a gamble. Would have sucked to take a collapse that low, and it was a real possibility given how turbulent it got!

Great detail and soooo much beter with you telling the story in your experience. Dude, serious respect for being such a champ. You were perfectly honest about the fact that you had no practice time in new gear. Last thing, very surprised that you got the 4.3ltr on the open trim since that is way more than it should be but you probably leaned it after the break in? If I remember correctly…awesome story dude

Thanks a ton Eugene. You're exactly right. Once I tuned (leaned) the engine at the end of the first leg and switched off of break-in mix, I was flying much more efficiently. Once I get the video for Leg 2 up you'll see some pretty crazy economy numbers

Great job Zack, I love the video and the detail you go into. Good job keeping going after several discouraging events at the start. Can’t wait to see the rest of this trip.

Thanks! The event was an emotional roller coaster, but it ended up being a life-changing experience that I was so glad to be a part of. I'm ready to sign up for the next one! =P
