Whoever started that conversation near the end there, about being an ex-lurker before, but deciding to engage with Minto and fellow Wisps this go-around because they never want to have that feeling of missing out when it seemed we'd never see her again...THAT WAS SO REAL Q~Q And I'm sure is a story that doesn't just apply to me, or you, or those who also said the same during chat, but for a lot of us. Seriously though, Mint's ability to keep up with, and interact with chat when she has such a large audience is impressive. Before Mint, I wasn't used to having my chat messages acknowledged, but she's read and responded to them more times than I can count.
Absolutely the same here. I lurked for years, but didn't really start interacting with the stream or the larger community until her last week or so of heaven.
At this point I'm just so thankful to have her back that I want to make sure I make the most of it instead of just falling back into my lurking habits

Horror recommendations? Hmm...
*Black Rose* - free indie horror game. Surprisingly very good imo for it's age.
*Kraven Manor* - another free indie oldie. Only about 2 hours and yeah, free.
*DreadOut* - Indonesian Horror game inspired by Fatal Frame.
*House* - pixel Horror. Not exactly terrifying but it quickly gets you invested in the mystery of the house.
*Saiko no Sutoka* - yandere horror game.
*Darkwood* - this one is longer of a commitment but its highly praised for its immersive, psychological horror.
*From the Darkness* - one of the better indie horror experiences out there imo.
*Purgatory 1 and 2* - my favorite RPGmaker horror game. Part 1 is more of a prologue and is only about an hour long while part 2 gets way more into things and is about 4-5 hours I think. Not very scary but admirably engaging.
*Doom 3* - definitely a deviation in the Doom series but underrated imo. Not your cup of tea if you're looking for a pure horror experience but would still be an interesting watch, especially since you're the Doom Maid.
*Golden Light* - a sorta horror roguelike and one of the most bizzare games I've ever seen.
*Mothered - a Role playing horror game* - psychological
*Alien Isolation* - a major slow burn for the first 2 hours but a well made game. If you ever play this game, I highly recommend watching the original Alien movie in preparation. Up to you if you want to do it on your own time or make it a watch along stream, but I HIGHLY recommend it as it will have a significant impact on how much you enjoy the game. The game takes place after the first movie and it assumes the player is familiar with the source material so if you don’t have that knowledge and appreciation for it, this game will feel like nothing more than a tedious “hide from the monster” game.
I would also recommend any horror game with multiplayer that you can drag Doki into because an invitation from you is probably the only way she'll do it 😅 SCP Containment Breach Multiplayer, Somewhere in the Shadow, Invitation to Fear, Remnant Records, Ghost Exile, Ghost Watcher's, etc. Can't go wrong with you two 😂
All of these recommendations are top tier! Saiko No Sutoka feels like the perfect Maid Mint game

For game recommendations, I'd love to see you play Carrion this spooky season (or whenever you're in the mood for it). Should be able to get through it in one longer stream or a couple shorter ones if you don't get too lost. Untitled goose game isn't horror but would be another good option for a game that can be completed in 1 - 2 streams and I could see you having a lot of fun with.

It's not really a "horror" game but there is a game called "The Dream Machine". It's a point and click game except everything in it was made BY HAND in real life out of clay and cardboard! It's very stylized but also very beautiful and intriguing.
It's very niche but very very highly rated. All chapters are available on Steam.
I was following the development of it since I first found it on a website that reviewed Flash games back in 2009. I own it but I haven't played it yet :P

Minto I've worked quite a few jobs. Jobs that were decent, a job that permanently damaged my mental health, and now a job I love. Mint its not a game, but I think with your taste in horror, you would really like the podcast The Magnus Archives. Its a creepypasta/night vale inspired audio horror series that is both very well written and thought out. It touches on as many horror topics as possible by the narrator of Slay the Princess. The first episode is a great introduction and the third episode makes you hungry for more. It's also gay af.
Haven’t finished the stream yet, but I hope you check out Kalamari Hospital and the Dollhouse DLC (in that order) in the future! And maybe check out the endless mode, it’s a bit of endurance since it’s endless, but there’s a few specimens specific to endless, along with some gameplay surprises

1. Echoes of the living: a RE2 inspired game coming out soon™. Better remake than the actual remake as far as the demo goes, might disappoint tho.
2. You will die here tonight: its pretty good and not that long. You can check reviews and vids on this one.
3. Tormented souls: mainly puzzle game, it's good. I watched another Vtuber play it but I'll respect the rules and not mention names.
4. Hololive ERROR: I dont remember you mentioning this one, so here.
5. Nightmare of decay: it's RE1 in terms of looks and gameplay except in first person.
Edit: almost forgot the clocktower games and hunting ground, if you're able to play those.

Short game recommendations! I have never seen any of these games take more than one stream to beat!
The Looker: Very short and very silly puzzle game. Maybe 1-2 hours. Also, it's free.
Devotion: Horror game that can be completed in a single sitting and is full of creepy vibes. Maybe the best horror game I've seen, but I admit I'm not usually into horror.
Christmas Massacre: Beatable in a single stream. I admit I don't know much about it but it's got some really goofy parts I love. Probably good as filler if you do a horror week.
Portal: If you somehow haven't played that yet. It just rules.
Any of the Rusty Lake games: They're all weird eerie puzzle games. Each of them is beatable in one stream.
Penguin's Dogma: A horror game about escaping from penguins. Very goofy. Also potentially good as filler if you do a horror week.
Cleared 1000 rooms of terror in only a few hours, and intending to return for more fun - by rights Mint should take over running the mansion and kick Spooky into the basement. Will she never meet a spirit miss worthy of rivaldom? Is there not one other ghost girl who can match her freak?

You asked for game reccommendations so I would be remiss as a brainrotted Project Moon fan not to recommend Lobotomy Corporation and its sequels Library of Ruina and Limbus Company.
Lobotomy Corporation is a game where you basically run an SCP foundation branch except instead of trying to contain horrifying eldritch monsters, you're trying to harvest energy from them because capitalism. I'll be honest with you. This game is long, janky, buggy, and probably the most difficult game I've ever beaten. Even so, I'd still consider it one of my favorite games of all time simply because the story is that good and is perfectly woven into the gameplay.
Library of Ruina is a deckbuilder that's a direct sequel to Lobotomy Corporation that expands the setting to show just how grimdark a setting the dystopian city really is. It focuses on Roland, a bitter and jaded and washed up Fixer (basically a mercenary) and Angela, a humanoid AI from Lobotomy Corporation who's never seen the world outside the facility as they basically lure in, trap, and kill a massive and colourful cast of characters from across the city.
Limbus company is the latest game in the series. It's a gacha RPG that's remarkably F2P friendly since everything in the game can be obtained through grinding. It follows a dysfunctional band of 13 nutjobs travelling through the city on a quest to find the golden boughs, mysterious artifacts buried deep beneath abandoned Lobotomy Corp facilities. All of the characters and main story arcs are inspired by classic literature like Crime and Punishment, Moby Dick, and The Metamorphosis with a Grimdark Project Moon twist. The most recent chapter was based off of Wuthering Heights and the next chapter is going to be based on Don Quixote.
All of the Project Moon games are absolute peak fiction with some of the best stories I've ever experienced in any form of media period. I love these games with all my autistic passion and you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not try them.
