this is a long shot, but dr jack kruse has extensively written about parkinsons and it might bring some hope and direction for possible improvement. he is a maverick. ❤
Thank you Amy! "You have Parkinson's" are three words no one wants to hear, but know there is a wonderful community of people out there who knows what it means, and we are here for you! 🥰
I looked for something right away, but when I didn't see an after-test video, I feared the worst. I wanted you to pass so much. I understand about independence (and I own a house fifteen miles from the nearest store). Then I got caught up in my own physical issue here which has nothing to do with PD, but it made me late in checking in again and I apologize. I'm just very happy about this outcome and for you. It may be true that we're all going to face the reality that we can't drive anymore, but for now, this test is behind you, and you are good to go. I do want one of those tee shirts. If you can wait a bit in my case, I'd be grateful. My current physical thing is a serious wound that's taking forever to heal. I can't work atm, and even though I'm retired, that check still makes a difference. I just need to wait a bit, and I'm sorry for asking. You have a sisterhood vibe that is unmistakable. I love guys, and I spent most of my life working with them. In fact, I married two guys so I must think they're okay. It's just that the older I get, the more I appreciate associations with other women. It's important for us to lift each other up. So, I want to wear that shirt.
Oh, I am sorry to hear about your wound that's slow to heal, that's not good! I'd be happy to hold onto a t-shirt for you, just let me know the size and which one....Yes, sisterhood and women in our lives is so important! I am here to lift you up like you did for me with your well wishes and follow up 🥰 Take care of yourself and let me know which shirt!
@@ParkinsonsWigglesProject I think we're just talking about next Wednesday at this point, so there is no need to hold a shirt, but thanks for offering. I'm just delighted to have a connection with such a wonderful person, Jennifer.
I live with parkinson for11 years I decided myself to stop myself. And allthough I miss it I feal it was the right thing to do for me. And i can get by without a car most of the time. But i am pleasedthat you passed, but when you feel yourself it isn't safe anymore think again when getting behind the weel.
Thank you for your comment and sharing your story! I live in a rural area with no public transportation. I could and will find a way to make it work when I get to that point, and like you, when it isn't safe I won't be driving. But I still hope that this will be years from now....we will see 🥰
Congrats on your license. You can't worry about something bad happening because if it happens you have lived it twice and if it doesn't happen you have still lived it.
Congratulations on passing! Was this a test you had to complete because you have Parkinson's? In Texas I have to go in for a vision test & updated photo but it is rare.
Annually is what I was told, but the license itself says 5 years?! I will do more videos on this subject when I get the request for a review or if anything changes. Driving safely is sooooo important, and driving privileges are vital to us all! ❤️
So glad you passed. Congratulations. Good advice on trying not to worry 😊
Thank you! The not worrying about things that hadn't happened was super helpful for me 🥰

Thank you! Yes I self reported that I had Parkinson's so, they made me do a drivers test 🥰
glad you passed 11 months ago. How often do you need to reevaluate? Every year?
