OK need to make a few points here 1. the fact that he waves at trucks going by in NEXT LVL playing love to see it 2. the fact that he put a list up for you to just add Mods to your game is NEXT LVL but i will have to say that the first link did not work but with all that said after 30 years behind the wheel IRL this is on point love the set up the imagination can only go as far as you take it

@@PhippsTrucking i updated the discription with a picture of the mod order list, it can crash the first time you load all the mods in but after that it should be fine, there are more mods in that picture but just ignor them were running some new once today

One of the best setups I've seen in ETS2/ATS. Simple, serves the purpose, looks clean. Nice job. (y) I would like something similar, but I don't have the space for it. :D

This summer is going to bee crazy, gonna do the next lvl of upgrades to both my trucking rig and racing rig, right now they are the same and to me its a no go, i dont like the car seeting position for truck driving.
This summer the truck rig is getting upgraded to a real truck cab, a 1996 scania 143 cab i bought, and the racing rig will be in my old 1995 audi 80 that i have scrapped.
Talking about rigs taking space 😂.

Honestly I was like cmon with the coveralls. Then he started waving at the AI trucks and I was like 😅 time to step away from the the sim rig bud.
Problem is that when i step away from the rig i step in to my work truck and keep trucking :D, i just need it to be as realistic as it can be :)

Tnx man, Yeah i feel the same, before i built this i was looking around alot for inspiration and atleast 80% of all rigs out there i found that had triples or 4 monitors had g29, or t300, or allways something ells that wrong, fully built dash, oh cool buuuuut a g29 sitting outside of the dashboard.... comeon, you build a full out dashboard and you have to use a logitec, destroys the vibe of the rig for me, but if can only afford a g29 or t300 nothing wrong with that, just when you spend 4 grand on the rig and you pare it with a g29 XD.
I do love the simjack pro pedals, i race with socks, and comming from fanatec v3 pedals that had the performance kit and a guy that loves a stiff brake pedal, the simjacks are really nice, after like 1 hr on the fanatecs my feet starting to hurt, on the simjacks i can play all day and my feet are fine, and i doo love how they feel under the foot, if anyone is looking for i upgrade i do recommend the simjack pros, great value for the price.

Awesome setup! Could you possibly do a overview of your rig? How do you like the triple 55"'s? Everything seems to look great and play smooth. Im about to start building my rig and you play all the games i do so any help/advice would be appreciated!

I mean i could try to film a overview of the rig setup, but is just that the rig right now is just a temporary setup for now, im a guy that just want everything to look as real as it can be on camera so the rig is not done cause i did not like where it was going and i got bigger plans in the making for the rig to bring it to the next lvl but im low on time and its winter so its freezing outside so all the next lvl stuff for my rig`s is gonna come in the spring "Real car rig, Real truck cab rig"!!
Anyways a quick summery I love the 55" tvs if your out there for a life size experience in simracing, 55" is a good size for everything beeing life size when your looking around when your driving and if you want the dash and alot of the car interior showing on the screens, If you want more of building your own dash and cockpit with wood i would say 43" is a good size for showing like the car/truck windows only and have your own dash and stuff!
If you dont wanna go that big or you dont want tvs, i can strongly recommend 32" monitors! i feel like there the sweetspot if you dont have room for tvs, i have used triple 24, 27, 32 and 55"
Advice on the rig components, dont cheap out on pedals, Buy a Direct Drive wheel base, just skip the belt wheels and gear wheels completely, if you get in to this hobby you will upgrade to a DD so just buy one from the get go and games will be more fun and you can customise the feeling so much on a DD, on belt and gear wheels you just get what you get with FFB!
I know Aluminium extrusion rigs are expensive but there just so good for you to get everything where you want it to be, its all adjustable if you buy a steel rig your stuck with what you get, on alu extrusion you just keep buying parts and adding on to it as time goes on!
I would say 8-12nm DD is what you should aim for, i Run about 10nm in Drifting, 13nm in racing/rally and 18nm in ATS
Wheel Base Moza r9/r12 or fanatec csl dd 8nm or 11 nm you cant really go wrong with any other DDs out there its just that i have used moza, fanatec and now simucube so cant speak about the other once.
On the Pedals side, the simjack Pro Aliexpress pedals are a insane value for the price, they feel great out of the box, you might need to change springs depending on what you like, but for me coming from fanatec v3 pedals i love them, i run with socks 99% of the time and the sim jacks are so nice to press with socks even if you run high brake force, i can play 8hrs or racing and have no issues of my feet hurting.

Sweet man, im trying to make it as good as it can be on camera.
On the shifter feel, yeah the th8a is way to soft, you got to "roleplay" with it and try to nail the shift to the sound.
Im gonna build my own shifter in the future, cause i tryed both fanatec and moza and im not happy with them and a long stick, im gonna try the moza again when i get a thicker stick, its gonna take time before i got time to make my own shifter and the alu stick i use for the th8a bends with the moza so its hard to get the shifts right for floating gears 😂

Tnx man, nah i dont want toobie eye tracking, im going for full on realism here, when i get the new truck sim setup with 4 TVs i can look out the windows and see the Traffic:), rith now i can se 75% of a 90degree turn at a stop sign, so almost there, with 4 tvs ill be able to see full out 90 degrees

What kinda speaker setup do you use? I just got back into ATS because I got a wheel and shifter waiting on my knob to come in next week but these steel series speakers I picked up aren’t too impressive. The video sounds amazing idk if it’s picking up follow from your room or straight from the game but OMG THE JAKE 🤤🤤🤤

I see your left foot chilling, but you're shifting. Is there no clutch?
P.S. I have little knowledge of trucks.
American trucks run non synced gearboxes, so you rev match and float gears, meaning you match the engine revs to the gearbox rotation and the gear goes in without any issues just like your shifting your car with a clutch, this is because you get less wear on the truck, the clutch is only used for stop and start so the clutch will hold for way longer.

because as I see and understand it the dashboard and windows on the truck are all in one monitor (3 monitors) and are close behind the base wheel.

What FOV do you use and can it change for other setups.
I'm asking this because I'm thinking to build a build like that, maybe in the future to add some trucking pc hardware.

Im running 3x LG Oled 55" tvs two of them are C9 oleds and the center one is a CS oled.
There are 2 ways of running triple screens in ATS.
You have the more advanced version where you can dail in the monitors perfectly, you do the calculations on this google doc and yuou put it ion to the config files. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15CAk4qBpEvNnmzbEN6aBsTlcihyGf22daoZ7Y-QLeRI/edit#gid=595000771
You go to config in ATS Documents folder and set you r_multimon_mode to the number "4" that will enable the game to render 3 screens and advanced calibrations for the screens in game and spawn a new folder where you put in the advanced monitor configs if i remember right, defently look up a tutorial if you go this route!.
And you have the secound option that im running for now and is a bit easier to get going.
You go to config in ATS Documents folder and set you r_multimon_mode to the number "2" that will enable the game to render 3 screens, and you set your angle of the screens and im running 60 so r_multimon_fov_horizontal "60", you can adjust your boarders and stuff but i have not cause i run bezel delete kits and my oleds are running pixel shift to help them not to burn in so the boarders betwin the screens will never be right anyways and the bezel delete kit hides it abit so have not really cared about it.
FOV is locked out in game when you run triples.
Ah nice man, i would recommend it you have room and you want to have bigger monitors, go with some cheap big brands like LG, Samsung, TLC 43" tvs, there 60hz tvs have decent game mode on the new tvs and you can run triples and have it quiet close to real life :)
I drive trucks in IRL so for me 1 to 1 with IRL is key for me to have fun!
Next version of my trucking rig is goiung to be a real Truck cab and quad 43" monitors, have already bought the cab, its from a 1996 scania 143 sleeper cab, hope to get started this summer with that project, stay tuned for videos about that :)

For now I still need to earn money for all this equipment, I'm running now a VR set up but it disables me to play in Truckers MP so yea!! XD. anyway I do have a wheel, gear, 3 pedals and "playseat" rig set up. So only thing is the screens and most importantly SPACE and money !!! XD.

The wheel is a replica of a real wood steering wheel its 18" big and wheigh a ton xd.
The gear grind sound might be a mod ill have never played ats with out mods 😂
Were running 18 speed eaton mods with this engine pack.
And run the game with advance shifting and "trying" to float the gears 😅

@@piggehdeluxe I have a 15 inch Foreversharp wheel on the way which is the biggest I can go on my sim rig, as usually I do racing and got the steering wheel up quite high. With 16 or even 18 inch I would probably just look against or even under the wheel. 😄
Sure, link me up man. I also run the proper gearbox config, 18 speeds and unsynchronized. This makes the truck sim games so much more interactive rather than just clutching or worse only running an auto box. Way more enjoyable to float and double clutch.

And for me sitting in a car driving position just feels wrong in a truck.

did you have to modify the wheel at all to fit your simucube base? or did you use just the 3 holes already in the wheel and attach wheel side straight on?
i welded my own adapter from the 3 bult pattern to the simucube 2 quick release

You only use clutch in american trucks to stop and get started, when your on the move you float gears and rev match :)

@@acedriver5380 american trucks have no synchronizers in the gearbox, you rev match, you learn at what rpm you can slot in a gear and if you time it perfect the gear will just go in just as a normal synchronized gearbox with a clutch, there build really good and are made for it, ofc if you put a driver that never have driven that typ of gearbox he can do some dmg over time.
If you use the clutch on the american trucks you still wont get the gear in and it will grind cause you have no synchronizers and you still need to rev match.
So they dont use clutch "only at start and stop" cause its less ware and tare on the trucks when you learn how to float gears :)

Im running 1440p, 1080 is a bit to low res, a 3070ti should not have any issues running ats/ets at triple 1440p res.
And vr or triples man it depends on you, i love both, the reason i run triples is when i play games, i play for 4-5hrs and i can only be in vr for about 2hrs before i need a break.
