KitchenAid Food Processor Attachment Demo & Review

  • Hello!!
Today’s video is going to be a review on the KitchenAid Food Processor Attachment. I show you demonstrations on all the disks and tell you my thoughts. I’ve had this attachment since last Christmas and have been wanting to do a video on it, so here we go.
I use the shredding all the time, but the others I’ve never tried. I am not sure why it’s taken me this long to use it, but I wish I would have used it sooner. I really like cutting by hand but I am going to be using this more often because it’s so fast and easy to use and easy to clean!!!
Some things I don’t care for is when shredding or using the julienne function there is a little food like potato or carrot left behind. So I have to stop every couple of potatoes to remove the parts that didn’t shred.
If you purchase this it comes with a manual that shows how to use it and what foods work best and the speed it needs to be on to get the best quality cuts. I like how all the blades have a container you can store them in when not in use.
Like I stated in the video this was a gift from my husband and I really like this attachment for the KitchenAid. I think this would be a great gift for anyone who loves kitchen gadgets, or has a large family because it will save lots of time with prepping of your veggies. I am going to start prepping my veggies when I bring them home from grocery shopping so whenever I need diced onions they will already be ready in the fridge. I hope you found this review helpful if you’re interested in buying or giving as a gift.
    Thank you for watching!!

Thank you for the great review. This is a one of my favorite attachments. I have a regular food processor that I hate to take out for prep work. I love that you can just switch bowls underneath rather than having to remove the container on my Cuisinart and clean it out when I need to do more than one thing - I just switch the bowls. For those that are unhappy with it, I always tell people to be really sure about attachments so you get the ones that really meet needs. It's easy to end up with a bunch of wonderful attachments that are useless to you. KitchenAid has a counter top food processor that will make mayo and mix.

Nice video, thank you ... i am hoping to get this attachment soon. Just got the vegetable /fruit sheet slicer and absolutely love it ! 😊 Tip: keep an onion in the refrigerator- when it's cold it won't burn your eyes when you cut it. I have also cooled one down in the freezer for a short time before cutting if I didn't have one already in the fridge.

Doing dehydration and took an afternoon to hand cut fruit and vegs, with processor minutes! Even dried pineapple slices and mushrooms and bananas and beets...amazing! Then can powder the dried food and make smoothies and add to soups and when tomatoes are seasonal, dried tomato powder that can be reconstituted into sauce or paste or home made ketchup without the fructose.

Hi there. Just stumbled across your video while looking to see what I could do with my new KitchenAid mixer besides the usual doughs and batters. Your video of course made me a little bit excited to get and try this attachment and maybe save some space by streamlining my kitchen machines and tools. Do you have a link to this specific set? Also adding, hope this doesn't come off weird, but your voice is very calming. I'd probably listen to you demo stuff I don't even want haha. See? No not weird way to say that.

Hi Gita! When placing the lid on make sure the lid is properly aligned where you hear a click. When I first use the machine I put the lid on and had the same issue with it not working only to find out I put the lid on wrong. So when you remove the KitchenAid nozzle to put the attachment on the lid should also line up with the nozzle part. I hope that makes sense and helps. If that doesn’t work I’d try calling the company.
