I wonder why anyone would go through the trouble to make fried wonton. It is an American-Chinese invention. I much prefer the traditional Cantonese wonton in broth.
There is a kind of fried wonton in Hong Kong restaurant called Deep fried wonton with sweet and sour sauce 錦鹵雲吞 which is very famous
