Gordon Ramsay checks in to the Historic Calumet Inn, in Pipestone, Minnesota. Joint owners, Vanda and Rina Smrkovski were given the inn as a gift by their father (who they still call “daddy”), and they treat it with less respect than a dolls house. These spoilt little girls have been playing hotel for nine months, and their idle behavior has left the staff working double time, and on the brink of revolt, and their guests suffering. Gordon quickly realizes that daddy’s little girls need to grow up, and fast, if he’s going to have a chance of saving this place. Will the wheels on the bus keep going round and round, or have they already come off?

I love how Gordon frequently compliments the mom's and grandma's cooking on his shows.
The sisters are absolutely unlikeable and clueless. The parents have a huge share in how they turned out as they've raised their children this way.

You can see their mother is very exhausted but she hides it with smile and laugh.
Their parents seemed okay... the sisters are beyond the point where you could talk sense into them and beating sense into them would be unlawful lol.. the kids can call the cops on parents in the US if they are a lil strict, but these kinda kids require that kinda parenting. Tbh... I think where they grew up and their friend circle is also to blame, peer pressure and friend circle have more influence on us as a kid compared to our parents since most kids are rebellious so even with right parenting, things don't go right sometimes, that's another reason why kids with problematic parents turn mature faster than kids who are handed everything since the get go, that's why teaching them to be responsible with what they have is so important cuz they gonna take everything down with them. I see the whole women community turning toxic in the US, that's cuz girls are spoiled more than guys, I think both should be treated the same way, that also means that guys should stop objectifying women and stop appreciating beauty over brains... I see women arguing about them being more than their body and asking guys to stop objectifying them but I see them subconsciously acting and becoming just as men think about them.. trying to flaunt their bodies and acting like idiots on tiktok... guys have to take responsibility and provide for the family, women always have a failsafe, that is someone else will provide for them, that is their partner or their parents. That's why I think importance of self value, responsibilities, education, how to carry yourself is more important to be taught to girls while guys should be taught to treat women as they would their sister or mother rather than objectifying them. US has failed to do that and hence it'll be a breeding ground for dumbasses in the near future. Thank you.

For anyone who's wondering what happened to the hotel after: The sisters sold it in 2015, got it back for a while, sold it again, then the hotel got condemned because it didn't comply with the city's fire code, it got renovated and nowadays it operates with mixed reviews, some praising it for the location and people bashing on it for being unclean and terribly managed.
EDIT: The hotel got condemned AGAIN. The owners say that it was illegally condemned under false pretenses, but this is all alleged. The hotel is closed, but the owners plan to reopen it soon.
...I'm assuming those goldfish died pretty quickly.

UPDATE:
Calumet Inn was sold by the sisters around the year 2015, two years after the episode was recorded. The inn changed two more owners, and eventually closed for good in May 2022 by the government, because the owners failed to maintain the old 1880s building and it was ruled a safety hazard.
