With the current lack of experienced talent, we are facing the task of hiring people with no experience. With only minor exceptions to certain local or location specifics, these videos are an absolutely amazing comprehensive and concise tool to explain so many things that can't be covered by working a couple of shifts with a trainer. Thank you for this resource.
Thanks Josh! I like this. At the bartending school I taught at we went with VGRTB Very Good Remembering Tool for Winning Bartenders: vodka, gin, rum, tequila, whiskey, brandy. Both, I think, will help people remember proper bar order. Thank you for watching!!
You helped me out sooooo much I started training last week and the owner was telling me how amazing I did ! Will be looking forward to more of your videos 😁
You are an absolute blessing! You are gifted at making these videos very easy to follow, comprehend and apply. I recently decided to get a job and a very small town and the only thing available was bartending. I do not like the taste of alcohol and have never drank more than a white claw or Moscato. These videos have made me secure behind the bar and my bartending experience fun. Thank you so much for producing these and my patrons thank you as well.
Aly, you have the best bartending instructional videos on youtube. Thank you so much for making these! They have helped me so much in becoming a bartender and also perfecting my techniques. Again, THANK YOU. YOU ROCK! 👍

I have been a fan for so long! I love your videos so much; they've been so helpful! I would love to see a video of comparing different bars you've worked at! Keep making videos! ❤

Hey Shahla, I actually make them! I buy blank cards and fill them in. You can buy commercial cards online, but I think that making them yourself really helps you study. I think I mentioned in the video how I make them. But in case I didn't, what you want to do is put the drink name on the front. On the back, put the glassware in the top left, recipe in the middle, and garnish in the bottom right. I hope that helps, thank you for watching!!
Hi Aly, you have great instructional videos on bartending. I do have a question which probably should be on the pour video page anyways....Will it be any help practising the free pouring (counting) using a jigger or is it better to use an actual glass. Great video once again...keep them coming... PS : How strictly do you have to follow a cocktail recipe...are there any wiggle room when it comes to measurements or brands used?
Hi John thanks for your question! You can definitely use jiggers to measure your pours. I do mention jiggers and their use in this video. But for the purpose of learning to free pour using your counts, it is best to pour into a glass first, then pour what's in your glass into either a shot glass or jigger to measure your accuracy. And of course there's wiggle room. Bartending is as much about creating new cocktails as it is making established ones. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
