Try having an innocent family member locked up for falsely being accused of gang activities and not going through a judicial process.     I am following all the changes he is doing in El Salvador. a lot of good thing are happening in El Salvador since June 1th. He has been on the top 5 most popular president in the world for the last 3 or 4 months. I think right now he is number one.

      Deny Romero Because he is positive minded and knows that soon enough the country will be ready. To achieve this goal, he needs to get rid of the high crime rate by enforcing security and rehabilitate the joy of doing interesting activities that keeps the young people from involving into gangs. That being said, he is already working into these things preparing the country which previously was hit by 30 years of corruption by previous governments.

      Cause he was one of the wealthy ones. He went to really nice schools while the others struggle to get into schools. They generally drop out early and start working so they can eat.

      kevin gomez Central Americans DO NOT work harder than anyone else.My daughter works with Central Americans and alot of them get fired for being lazy and not wanting to do the hard work everyone else is doing...Citizens are still doing the HARD work.No one needed (extra imported)construction workers, lawn keepers, housekeepers, Day Care workers, salon beauticians, school aides/bus drivers...etc in the USA.Citizens were already doing all these jobs...bosses just wanted to pay less.

      kevin gomez Another Central American got fired from where my daughter works TODAY.The guy was fired because of not wanting to work on a shift that requires more work.Some of them just might be hard workers but alot of them are not.They try their best to get the easier, shifts or places to work.Atleast that is what I see where I live.
      I was close friends with a guy from El Salvador he laughed at the black Sanitation workers on the trash truck...that job is HARD/Nasty.I see no Central Americans doing that...

    Why would El Salvador take in asylum seekers from ANYWHERE? That means the us could literally send them Haitians or African migrants stuck in Tijuana not just Central Americans. Also this was taken out of a larger interview and seems skewed. I wonder if this news program is trying to criticize Donald Trump by association by saying the Trump administration made a bad deal when they didn't bother explaining it fully.
