Love the cover but I agree...there are a lot of other pics with Elvis and Lisa I prefer, even from the same set. I thought they would have used a picture of an adult Lisa only. I like Priscilla out of the cover. Thanks Riley for this. But I especially like the title..taken from the song "Where No One Stands Alone" they sang together ❤ We can't know if maybe Lisa had already chosen the cover picture and title.

Hi Michelle, I will be definitely ordering this book. The cover photo of Lisa Marie represents to me, the sadness Lisa felt through out her life. The lost of her beloved Dad, and her son Benjamin. Lisa had everything money could buy but lost two people in the world she loved most. I believe this book will be hard to read because of this but a great read. I think and hope that Riley will keep Lisa's book as she wanted it, honest and truthful about every aspect of her life. If she says any negative things about Priscilla we shouldn't feel bad for Priscilla as Priscilla has never worried about what she puts in her books, even portraying Elvis ♥ in a less than good light. Wonderful news. I cannot imagine a more wonderful title, how fitting and telling. Love the picture, too. Their serious expressions I guess are in accordance with the books contents, at least in parts. Why they chose the cutout will give lots of space/fodder for speculation ... there are others where they Look serious, thoughtful (the one where Elvis is kissing the top of Lisa Marie's head I love). I agree with you, the typeface is not the most beautiful one. And I would have preferred Riley's name in smaller letters. This is nothing against Riley, but the main author is Lisa Marie. I love this picture. I think that LisaMarie’s face is so incredibly adorable. She’s always been America’s little princess. We don’t have royals on this side of the pond, but we all know her Dad is The King of rock and roll. There is a serious almost wisdom beyond her years look on her face. This piercing look is a glimpse into the words she will provide the reader. The sobering truth of what it REALLY meant to be Americas for sure princess. Elvis face being partly cutout is painful because we want to see all of him. But like his early departure, Lisa could not have the whole of him. The pain for us to not see his entire face is underscored by her inability to have him the rest of her life. The crushing blow of this loss echoed years later with Ben. Her mother’s hand over her own portrays who was to guide her after Elvis departed and hopefully we will hear what she wants to share. Some things may have been picked out after LisaMarie departed, but I think the majority of her story is intact. Thank you for sharing this.
I love the cover picture, I think it's perfect, and I don't know why some are commenting that Priscilla isn't in it - it isn't Priscilla's book, it's Lisa's, and the major relationship in Lisa's life was with her father. She said that when he died she never felt safe again. There are other pictures of them together, but the best ones are from that photo shoot, any of them together from that same session would be perfect, although I like this one because Elvis is halfway out (in the past) and little Lisa looks so pensive. In all the pictures and videos of the two of them together you can see the love they had for each other. I agree with you about the font though - I don't like the bold all caps font for everything. You're right, it makes it look cheap. It's good for the title, but then the names below should be in regular type - slightly smaller and not just upper case. The title is perfect! When Trevor died I posted a few lines from that song also, but I posted "Hold my hand, Let me stand where no one stands alone." I hope what's published is exactly what Lisa wrote.
I read a lot of poignancy in that cover pic and words, from the very point that Lisa was once here on on earth and is now up there in the great unkown alongside her beloved daddy, to the probability it was chosen by Lisa herself as she openly stated whilst recording the duets with her father it was the song Where Noone Stands Alone she felt as if her father was standing by her side. 😢 Lastly the very fact that Elvis is only half shown suggests to me Lisa always knew that even though hed left he was always around her especially in her darkest moments of feeling very alone. Im certain Priscilla will have known about and seen the cover and it too will have resonated with her. I dont for one momennt think.the memoir will be anything other than honouring Lisa, as Lisa herself would have said , its my life, my story, take it or leave it, it will be truthful and brutally honest, the truth does not mean it will be a hatchet job on her mum as many have assumed. This will be Lisa barely her soul, the good the bad and ugly., a profoundly tearjerking read. As you know ive already pre ordered ok i love the photo and this is my interpretation...lisa felt safe with Elvis but he wasn't always around, Priscilla’s hand being shown ,a guiding hand shes the one making decisions for Lisa but wasn't always present. Lisa looking sad i think that sums up how lisa felt especially after her dad then her son passed away. Also we don't know if when the book is open Priscilla is actually on the inside cover . The book cover is meant to hype the book to the Elvis community as Lisa’s relationship with her dad, and perhaps not dealing with her abusive mother, with whom she was estranged for many years prior to her death. Lisa expressed how she felt about her mother, that led to Priscilla being fired by EPE’s Weinshanker, her estrangement from her, her vehement opposition to her portrayal of Elvis as a monster and buffoon in her cartoon and movie, and, just like her father, her will that cut her out cold. It would honor both Lisa Marie and Elvis, for the book to be dedicated solely to her loving relationship with her father - a story unsullied by the horrors that she endured after his death. I look forward to “seeing” Elvis through Lisa Maries’ loving eyes.
My hope is that fans are able to analyze this book WITHOUT ANY BIAS just like they do every other book and NOT just automatically accept everything that is written.

My initial thoughts: the book is about Lisa Marie, so she is in the photo. Elvis, being the famous parent, is only partly there but enough to be identified as Elvis. So probably it’s an attention grabbing composition; nothing sinister.

Hello Michelle, I've ordered two copies of the book. .courtesy of Rick of Elvis A-Z sharing information on how to get it at Graceland. I love the Title ( as I love that song more than any other Lisa did with her daddy Elvis) and the cover is.quite fitting . I can't wait to read the book. For the most part, I think it will most definitely open alot of people's eyes and hopefully their hearts. I don't feel it's gonna be a burning at the stake(so to speak) of her mother( Priscilla Presley) book. Lisa loved her father Elvis and her mother too. As you know ive already pre ordered ok i love the photo and this is my interpretation...lisa felt safe with Elvis but he wasn't always around, Priscilla’s hand being shown ,a guiding hand shes the one making decisions for Lisa but wasn't always present. Lisa looking sad i think that sums up how lisa felt especially after her dad then her son passed away.
Also we don't know if when the book is open Priscilla is actually on the inside cover .

The book cover is meant to hype the book to the Elvis community as Lisa’s relationship with her dad, and perhaps not dealing with her abusive mother, with whom she was estranged for many years prior to her death.
Lisa expressed how she felt about her mother, that led to Priscilla being fired by EPE’s Weinshanker, her estrangement from her, her vehement opposition to her portrayal of Elvis as a monster and buffoon in her cartoon and movie, and, just like her father, her will that cut her out cold.
It would honor both Lisa Marie and Elvis, for the book to be dedicated solely to her loving relationship with her father - a story unsullied by the horrors that she endured after his death.
I look forward to “seeing” Elvis through Lisa Maries’ loving eyes.

My initial thoughts: the book is about Lisa Marie, so she is in the photo. Elvis, being the famous parent, is only partly there but enough to be identified as Elvis. So probably it’s an attention grabbing composition; nothing sinister.

Hello Michelle, I've ordered two copies of the book. .courtesy of Rick of Elvis A-Z sharing information on how to get it at Graceland. I love the Title ( as I love that song more than any other Lisa did with her daddy Elvis) and the cover is.quite fitting . I can't wait to read the book. For the most part, I think it will most definitely open alot of people's eyes and hopefully their hearts. I don't feel it's gonna be a burning at the stake(so to speak) of her mother( Priscilla Presley) book. Lisa loved her father Elvis and her mother too. I think the cover is because it’s more about being Elvis’ daughter as such ? But I like the pic of them both looking at each other laughing, a much more lovely picture but I’m sure she has her reasons x
