I rarely ever see really aesthetically ugly people. There are obviously symmetrically beautiful people and then there are people who have something interesting about their looks you just wanna keep looking at them and most like majority has it. Just gotta find it.

take professional pictures of yourself and post it on Instagram
Look for modeling jobs close to home, build a portfolio and save your money. Eventually you will have enough to cover flight costs and as a bonus, you will be more experienced and have something to show for it. If for some reason modelling doesn't work out for you in New York, you can always go back to Canada and do more there and take it to higher levels, branch out.
When they do the "dont do it" is equally perfect!!

Nothing in the video or description said a word about Polaroids. Polaroids aren't very popular anymore but I remember as a child catching the tail end of its popularity. The only thing that was ever specific about photos taken with those cameras was the instant gratification of knowing exactly what the picture looked like and having it in hand right away, since it was before digital blew in mainstream. There were absolutely no rules, guidelines or even a hint of what to and what not to photograph, let alone anything about whether you should wear makeup or not.
Models wear tons of makeup. And it usually takes around the same amount of makeup or even more of it to make a person look like they aren't wearing any but are naturally model quality, perfection.

Sometimes it's not all about the looks or be the cutest model it's more about knowing how to pose, use your angles, use the light, know what works for your type of body and face structure, not over do like it he said cuz it doesn't look good, the more natural possible the better.
