To be honest, I don't see much of a reason to return to it. 10+ years of being punished for "being a beginner". For having stats, I didn't choose to have, as much as others are thinking.
Now, to be fair, the Manticore is the second most accurate light tank at tier 10 (joint with the EBR), and its aiming time is slower than only the Sheridan (with the 105) and Rhm (and the EBR). The problem is the reload time and the ammo count. The Manticore joins AVR FS, the LHMTV, the LTTB (upgraded gun) and the Bat Chat 12t (stock gun) as the only light tanks with a potential damage output of less than 8k (and it's the only tier X with less than 11k). And the only lights in tiers 8-X with lower sustained DPM are the AVR FS, the LHMTV, the Bat Chat 12t, the Lynx 6x6 (stock gun), and the AMX 13 90 (stock gun)... I'm noticing a pattern as to which tanks seem to have damage problems...

They tried to operate to make a bypass so they could put him on kemo, couldn't operate the cancer is too widespread. According to Jingles the doctors gave him a few days - a few weeks to live, he was close to dying last Thursday but somehow made it.

The introduction of field modifications transformed the WoT meta, and the Manticore was a massive beneficiary of this. Prior to that it was seen as the "hard mode" light tank that only experts should use, which meant Manticore players were already usually the most skilled LT drivers.
The real life manticore was intended to fit the 183mm death star gun, so not as far away from a 14 inch naval gun than you'd think. WG - where is our death star light tank??
4:34 are you sure Jingles, all the british light tanks apart from the Crusader and the Senlac have garbage DPM, sure they reload a bit faster, but they do 135-230-240 damage, so the gameplay is mostly the same

Does anyone know what "The Manticore was only obsolete technology when facing the Russian Horde" means? Found it graffitoed on the inside of a gun turret of the USS TURNER JOY. Have never been able to figure out what it references.

the reason why the load speed is so slow is because they can only fit little itty bitty guys/women inside the tank and they have a very tough time handling the 105mm shells

How come the manticore looked terrible on paper and everyone said it would be terrible and yet the tank itself seems to perform pretty well? :D I even see it doing good raw dmg on a fairly consistent basis :)
It has better view range and camo than the LT-100, making it the best passive scout. It's got good alpha and acceleration, meaning it can take shoot'n'scoot pot shots that add up over time. The reload is slightly longer than the 12 seconds (10 + 2 for designated target) you are spotted for, so you can keep your effective dpm close to the paper number. Oh and it has the best base pen of the tier 10 lights and while it's gold ammo isn't as good as the 280 heat on many others, it has the highest shell velocity, making it a decent sniper.

Look, Jingles. I understand that Aurorik78 is good at the game. But are you really only getting good replays from this guy, I'm a bit sick of very similar gameplay just in slightly different maps and light tanks. Let's get some more diversity in what tanks and players you feature.
I’m so sick of seeing the same familiar faces on replays. Give me less of these pros who always play with divisions, and more of noobs flailing at lower tiers. I got sick of Flambass in WOWS and everyone “famous” in these games is so tiresome.
Honestly fail to see anything special in this video. Almost no one paid attention to him. His team was clearly better and he mostly hit and quit. Dont get me wrong he played sensible. But nothing worthy of a video feature.

this manticore gameplay was a bit dissapointing actually, compare to a friend who just recently did 8,4K dmg in his manticore.
