She doesn't seem to have the speaking voice qualities of the mezzo, lower depth and husky quality. All destiny's child members were vocally trained singers but no vocal theory was taught to them as to the type of female voice types they have. In non-classical music/ western pop they all would've been assumed and treated as sopranos despite Beyonce being a mezzo

Her voice is also naturally more agile and she was comfortable singing the soprano harmony in DC (8 Days of Christmas for instance). Plus when she sings her songs which tend to be in the lower-mid mezzo range she can sound out of breath on the lower notes where a mezzo would be very comfortable. Instead her voice seems to open up C5 and above and she has a free and easy head voice extension beyond C6, she just doesn’t use it in music much but that clip on The Voice showed that her tessitura is higher than much of her music suggests. That mixed Bb5 going up to a Eb6 had the brightness of a soprano. Alexandra has great head notes but she still sounds like a mezzo singing soprano whereas Kelly’s head extension has the timbre of a soprano

Need to go through her discography, she's probably a Lyric

I am torn for first place between Kelly Rowland and Alexzandra Burk. those two ladies have the most pure tones of the group. @Slaychelle i believe u and i have spoken b4 on how we feel kelly holds bk so much when she sings. this video proves just that you showed huh SANGIN in this video. sge is one of the greatest ever. i have never heard Mrs. Burk prior to this video. i am a fan now thanks for putting up on. she and kelly display to me strongest all around voices. K. Michell comes next in my second place. she is the clear winner in the high and head voice. Oh and i have a new respect for Kesha cole now. she was really good here. can i request a battle?

There are so many unreleased tracks with some of her strongest vocals (Forever is Just a Minute Away, Just Whisper) and the dance singles from that era! Who do you have in mind? No, her voice isn't particularly low, she just has a dark, smoky timbre. Her voice is noticeably higher and lighter than Tracy Chapman for example and it isn't androgynous in any register.

Kelly & K Michelle are the only lyric mezzos here. Keyshia is a lyric Contralto, and that other girl has what sounds to be a Dramatic Mezzo coloring.
