I am a Pixel phone user since past 6 years, used Pixel 3a and 4a phones. As the latest pixel phones are out of my budget, this time I have got Moto Edge 50 pro. After using it for 12 days, Pros: Great Audio system Big and bright Display Auto Video stabilization feature ( This is awesome❤) Sleek Edge Design Fast Charging Battery Backup Great performance Cons: Camera (Not as great as it is boasting off) Overheating while charging ( At times I am shit scared of this heating problem) Too many gliches in OS/UI - Flickering while displaying marqueed/sliding content in the apps. - Can't switch to bluetooth audio device after accepting the WhatsApp calls - Abrupt restart of phone while on call - Adaptive brightness feature is so pathetic ( Especially while watching Videos) - Unwanted repeated popups asking to turnoff mobile data ( It is so annoying) Over all I would give 3/5.

For context realme feels very stubborn and sticky even with 120hz locked in.
Flat display over curved. I have used curved and it did look good but it's not that special. It's hard to find good screen protectors for curved screens and curved edges can wear down in quality more than the flat part of the display over time. When I sold my phone, some wear down on the curved display was one of the reason for low resale value. Flat displays are simple and easy find good affordable screen protectors.

Please note, this is not a gaming phone given the compact size. Another big reason to opt for this phone - its in hand feel.
Haven't experienced overheating but since the last April update, there has been some heating while using camera continuously. Next update should take care of it.
Totally worth buying at the current price point where you will get 3 more android updates and 4 years of security updates.
@@Phoenix-my5fdI’m doing a lot of research and see that s23 is still worth buying after a year. But pixel 8a is as same price as s23 . Does it make sense to buy it over pixel?

No bro
Sending this from a moto Edge 50...the UI is buggy atleast in mine and i hope it gets rectified in an update and you have trouble finding accessories for the curved screen
Thanks for that buddy.

Could you share what sorts of bugs that you are facing?
@@anish.247 settled for the hydrogel for now so that I can atleast avoid scratches..for obvious reasons avoiding a uv tempered glass.. hopefully some brand will have an answer to that one
@@abhithtraj1816 well for one the home screen was buggy with the screen randomly going back on its own(I have gestures enabled for navigation instead of buttons but my skin was not touching the edge of the phone to have that happen).

Thank you for doing this. I was sceptical about buying moto edge 50 pro, 1 month before. Was regretting that I should have waited for this sale on Flipkart. But now am clear, my purchase was sound. Loving the phone. Stutters a bit with camera UI, waiting for an update 🤞🏼

For camera and video recording and minimum gaming, which one will be good..... S23 vs Moto edge 50 ultra
s23 beacuse it has better processer and supports 8k video reccording
I just want to ask sir , I have seen many review about moto edge 50 pro that people are facing green line issue ?
Is there any mode like Pro mode or similar which will enable in taking true to life (not oversaturated) photos on the Motorola?
Yeah
Problem with moto is green line issue and service crazily deny warranty citing liquid presence even if there are no water content. I am a moto edge 30 and cuz of display I thought edge 50 pro is perfect but most user state software issues and is prone to display issue in future updates. Very unfortunate we don't have a choice in this segment.
For long run buy Samsung and also it's software experience is way better than moto
I am currently using edge 40 and facing lots of small bugs after Android 14 update
Moto need to focus on software may be in future moto phones will improve but for now Samsung is lot better
Got green lines in Samsung what's the use of regular updates if it gives you green lines
Edge display preference I have over flat
It gives me unrestricted feel
And coming from op7 pro, i even find the front camera cutout to be a distraction
Now s23fe comes with the pricing of 30k it is worth to buy or ill go with motorola which also came at the same price of s23fe❤

I am a Pixel phone user since past 6 years, used Pixel 3a and 4a phones. As the latest pixel phones are out of my budget, this time I have got Moto Edge 50 pro.
After using it for 12 days,
Pros:
Great Audio system
Big and bright Display
Auto Video stabilization feature ( This is awesome❤)
Sleek Edge Design
Fast Charging
Battery Backup
Great performance
Cons:
Camera (Not as great as it is boasting off)
Overheating while charging ( At times I am shit scared of this heating problem)
Too many gliches in OS/UI
- Flickering while displaying marqueed/sliding content in the apps.
- Can't switch to bluetooth audio device after accepting the WhatsApp calls
- Abrupt restart of phone while on call
- Adaptive brightness feature is so pathetic ( Especially while watching Videos)
- Unwanted repeated popups asking to turnoff mobile data ( It is so annoying)
Over all I would give 3/5.
Hey ,are you facing those same problems now also. Or now it's giving you proper specs after updates
Sir,... is the "FE" a flagship phone? Or is it just a higher level than the "A" series but not flagship?
higher than A with flagship processor
Samsung phones are not meant for Indian weather. They get too hot while using and charging and are incredibly uncomfortable to hold at such time. Their battery backup is also pathetic so if you travel a lot or want a full day backup then you should stay away from them
A power bank?
@@sayannaskar9855 Power bank doesnt solve the heating and slow charging. I had bought 2 powerbanks for my S21fe but it's a hassle carrying powerbanks. It's easier to buy a phone with better battery backup ie One plus nord ce4 5G. I have also noticed that my S21fe had unreliable 5g Compatibility, Nord Ce4 Offers much better network.
Samsung in budget: powerbank (i have f62 with 7000mah & i can confirm. It never dies)
Samsung in flagship: no battery backup.

@@IntertwinedWish Moto Edge 50 pro and Iqoo neo 9 pro, buy one of these decide between performance of iqoo and flagship features of moto. Iqoo doesn't have a telephoto cam so portraits are not very good,it doesn't have nfc so no tap to pay or tap to pair. No usb 3.2 which means you cannot connect to a external display, funtouch os is bloated and doesn't have PC connectivity features, it also doesn't have wireless charging or ip 68 rating and the body is plastic. Moto has all these things with a metal frame but with a comparatively weaker chip . So if you're not all about performance and these features matter to you buy the moto and if these are things you don't think you need or use then get the Iqoo. Other phones are not comparable I think to these two, all others are bad, only other phone I can think of is OP11R but it's 128gb only for under 30k
Thanks Ershad, really wanted this video. One quick question. I have switched to realme (gt me) after being an ardent Samsung fan (still have s21). I really miss the smooth accurate touch experience os Samsung on realme and oppo. Do you relate? What does moto touch feel like? Samsung or realme. ...
True 💯
To each their own, likely I'll look at a case if I get too concerned.
Thank you for this comparison. I was really confused while buying edge 50 Pro ( but bought that 10 days ago ) I thought investing like 35k (with charger) on s23fe which offers only 25W charging speed is not upto the mark.
