FYI, OSs don't get slower because the battery gets old. Having sufficient power, they either work or they don't. This is not "the nature of technology".
According to Apple “when your battery health degrades(to anything lower than 80%) so can its ability to deliver peak performance.” Usually battery health starts to degrade as the battery gets older and older which it turn can make your phone start to move slower than before. So, I would say the battery/battery health can make your phone more slower over time.
@@alexisholla8074 that's correct for iPhones, just that's not inherent to technology in general. On #12: Part of the problem is with the keywords entered in the ads/content/products posting process. When I go to request Google/TH-cam to block certain ads, many times they will show an incorrect category, e.g. the ad category is "toys" when the ad has _nothing_ to do with toys.
On #18: Same reason software subscriptions exist, to keep the money coming in. Would you come back if you never upgraded? 24:00 in-app ads already involuntarily launch your browser and take you to their website - that shouldn’t be possible. Other apps block screenshots. You have far less control over your device than people think
Regarding planned obsolescence, don't you find it curious that a lot of consumer electronics, cell phones and laptops for example, no longer use easily changeable batteries? Most electronics these days consists of built-in, rechargeable batteries with a limited lifetime which, although the battery can be changed, companies seal their products, not using screws, to make access as awkward as possible.
19:23 How about the fact that before iPhone almost every cellphone came with a removable battery, so the battery could easily be replaced, or in some cases the user could carry an extra battery with them? The last Nokia I had came with a spare battery and even had a slot on the charging base for it so both would be ready. And the first iPhone I had had to be replaced because the battery died. It wasn’t covered by warranty at the time. I don’t know if it was even covered by Apple Care. Even the first few Samsungs had removable batteries.
19:10 Wait, what?? Number 8 on this very list was YOU saying the exact opposite! Did Apple's lawyers get to you between #8 and #18? Did they hurt you? Blink twice if you need help. Because you and everybody else know that planned obsolescence IS a thing and I believe you spoke what you truly believed earlier in this list. #18 feels scripted and sponsored and goes against my common sense. There is no possible way they don't know how to create more durable goods. But think of how much that would cut into their profits next quarter! And what about their shareholders?! So they continue to gobble up all of the resources that were given to us on this planet in record time to shove new things down our throat because they need to constantly feed the beast and only think as far ahead as next quarter's profits.
😂😂😂 "Blink if you need help"😂😂😂 I agree with you whole-heartedly! Using up natural resources! Making a BETTER product! Or long long Longer running product!! Fun fact: Doctors, who use snakes as their logo, used to reccomend that people smoke. Also, given the multitude of successful lawsuits against other pharmaceutical companies (pharmacies also use snakes as their logo), Purdue is not the only big pharma 'criminal'. Regarding the pfizer vaccines, does it not take years and years to do large scale studies on potential side effects of new pharmaceuticals?
I've had one pad and one phone die, they were both Android....battery just died...phone batteries should be easy to change, but like printer ink cartridges, the technology has whatever some say, been made a bit throw away....e.i. not ecological or user friendly, because it hits profits. Sad. I dislike the throw away society ethic.
25:48 NOT denying the cited conclusion. OK? Ok, we good? OK: I can speak to/of no other countries' fiscal structures. OK? I'm just saying: It is an absolute fact that the Federal Reserve - which controls our nation's currency production and valuation and public and private interest rates - is NOT a branch , department or bureau of the Government of the United States of America. It *is* a separate, private, entity. In honesty, *my* question is: WHY?
