I don't think there is logic to this. When he died, Anakin had turned from the Dark Side, and Vader had gone. When he died, like Obi-Van, his physical body vanished. It was only the suit & helmet which was burnt on the pyre on Endor.
if Disney didn't fuck up the movies and the merchandises; we could have had something cool like Darth Vader skull and the baby Yoda for the holidays. Happy Holidays for whoever reads this comment.
