Some of this cars may be under 700k but what about the depreciation cost, maintenance, aftersales service and parts availability? I think there at least 3 cars here that can potentially be more expensive to own in the long run than a civic or a corolla.
Its sad to note that S Presso Automatic version not available in Philipines, but available in India and I own one,,, excellent car and gives comfortable driving experience.

No Japanese made cars in US, its Japanese brand. Got 2000 Tacoma 280k miles 2009 sienna 185k miles 2012 Camry 125k miles oil change and brake jobs only, all bought used still running great. Just drove my sienna to yosimete 500+miles. Just have to be smart when you buy used cars bro.
A new vehicle is better than used no matter what the brand is. Someone might say for example a foton thunder pickup is made in China, the body and the name is correct but the parts being put on it are of a good quality like for example: Cummins engine, Lotus chassiz that is a German made, getrag transmission a German made, holset turbo a US made,dana axles, borg warner transfer case...etc
A new car will be nice if you can afford to buy in cash. A 1 yr old car would not make a difference if it was driven in normal condition vs a brand new. Remember car loses value up to 60% by end of its 3rd year. You might want to invest your money on investments that makes money.
In Manila's flat land and traffic, those small-engine, small- capacity and low-powered 4-bangers are okay. But with 5 people and full cargoes travelling to mountainous regions like Baguio, the turtles have reasons to smile a bit. ;-)

unreliable ang vw, sirain talaga kasi yan ang sasakyan ng pinsan ko wala pang 5k km dami ng issue sa mga bushings pati transmission nya sablay na agad... malaki ang nalugi ng vw sa usa nung nandaya sila sa emissions issue nila na kapag tinetest and tambutso ay naka-still lang ang sasakyan dahil may automatic switch na magde-deploy ang catalithic para bumaba ang level ng emissions allowed. pero pag tumatakbo na ay patay na ang catalithyc at para mas malakas ang makina... grabe ang pandaraya ng vw ano po

Thank you for a great video review on these cars. My question to all Filipinos is, if the salary is very very low in the Philippines, how can they buy and afford any of these cars? Please explain.

If don't have enough money to buy car, don't try to own a car. And, before buying a car, please have own garage first. 😆😆😆
Not everyone has very low salary. Maraming pinoy na more than 30k pesos a month ang salary. Pwede na mag-installment sa kotse ang may ganong sweldo.
Then don't buy one just use public transport or buy motorbike.

I drove vios in Taiwan last 2013 when my daughter was born there. First car I drove with back up camera and that feature was not available in US cars at that time.

I would rather choose Suzuki Dzire than Wigo for value of money and features. Mejo kulang lang yung affordable list mo sir.. di hamak din naman na mas marameng entry level na unit si Suzuki na less than 700k.. expand your list sir para mas marame options, if you really want to make your video more informational.

Do not buy cars from dealers which does not offer certified service center not conveniently located near your area and make sure that they offer roadside assistance (make sure it is efficient and not keep you waiting) that should be part of the deal.
Kung 700k talaga budget mo, mag Honda ka na. Best small engines are Honda, ask Scotty Kilmer. Yung VW Santana naman basically Chinese car yan, alam na ibig sabihin. Ciao.
unreliable ang vw, sirain talaga kasi yan ang sasakyan ng pinsan ko wala pang 5k km dami ng issue sa mga bushings pati transmission nya sablay na agad... malaki ang nalugi ng vw sa usa nung nandaya sila sa emissions issue nila na kapag tinetest and tambutso ay naka-still lang ang sasakyan dahil may automatic switch na magde-deploy ang catalithic para bumaba ang level ng emissions allowed. pero pag tumatakbo na ay patay na ang catalithyc at para mas malakas ang makina... grabe ang pandaraya ng vw ano po
