    I'm 36 yrs old and just now getting to know/understand that "oneness" they are talking about. It's a consciousness. An awakening and it's incredible. These guys are major intellectuals, brilliant minds and huge inspiration. They are and always will be THE DOORS

    • @musicisbrilliant
      @musicisbrilliant 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thats awesome. Can you explain more about the "oneness" with everything?

    • @erich591
      @erich591 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Well i think you first have to divorce yourself from all things that divide us. The foremost being false left/right paradigms including and especially religion. Then reconnect with yourself and who you really are and you will start to understand.

      @musicisbrilliant 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Eric H That sounds about right, thank you. What Im interested in knowing is how YOU personally experienced oneness...

      if it's so clear to u why don't u explain it without. ring vague Mr "oneness"

    • @musicisbrilliant
      @musicisbrilliant 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah its hard to fully understand what people mean, some people experience it on psychedelics, but I dont know exactly what they mean. Damn curious though!

    Superb interview. Never realised what a very very clever insightful man was Ray Manzarek. And the best was brought our from him by a superb interviewer who really knew how to bring out the best of his subject.

    This is such a great interview!! So deep!! I miss Ray so much, what a bright light he always was... This interview was so endearing! I can’t believe I didn’t know about his fictional piece until recently. Ordering it now. Had the blessing to see Ray and Robby perform live in 2008, front and center of stage barricade... after having read his book Light my Fire. I learned so much from reading Rays words, and his many interviews. I miss you Ray. As much as I miss Jim. You brought it all to life for me, and always loves your spiritual perspective and teachings.❤️

    Ray was a master musician and a master story teller; the best in the business. I can listen to him talk all day long and never tire of it. Same as listening to the Doors music after all these years. I was there at the beginning and am still there today enjoying every note and every word!
