Tried this out and I found a strategy. Get all the purple ones and basically just devolve the stuff apart from those and infectivity-only ones. I don’t mean mostly infectivity, I mean Infectivity-ONLY.

he already uses it to spore burst into greenland and iceland? the issue is the game doesn't give you any cold resistance so you literally cant infect greenland even with max infectivity unless you start in somewhere like russia for natural cold resistance and even that might not be enough. i think the only way to win this scenario is to literally start in greenland and hope you get enough dna to afford cure slowdown and a spore burst

Welll clearly this scenario is half baked. There absolutely should be corpse transmission and other forms of transmissions and ways to reduce the lethality of the virus.
This is my build order to beat this scenario genetic code Atp boost, genetic mimic, aquacyte, extremophile, and sympto- stasis build order pseudobulbar 1 and 2, stretching, void cells and void potion, get the third level of pseudobulbar, get insomina and depression, and wait until you infected as many nations as you can, get wings then, wait until you hit critical mass in all of the other nations and get whatever you want. also devolve corrupted brain until you hit critical mass in every single nation. And if you cant get to all the island nations get every single ability including the cure time slower and you should infect every single nation. And once you hit critical mass in every single nation get as much lethality for the best score. And that's my build order which should work. Also start in Greenland.

The closes I could get was by starting in Greenland.
Now I beat it on normal difficulty in Greenland and casual difficulty!.
