    I know several people that have been fooled by these offers. Thank you for providing such a thorough explanation.

    Had Delta & Manhattan. Just went with Humana dental to supplement my Advantage policy. The cost was 50% of Manhattans so dropped Manhattan. Coverage was 100% day one no waiting period. Will compare Humana to Delta next to see how they are.

      Question, does the plan you like have networks? Manhattan has none.

    I receive VA benefits along with TriCare for life (prime) and receiving Social Sec Disability so my situation is more complicated.

    Great video Stephanie, it sure seems these plans are just trying to trick folks into their plans. Why? Sure they provide so limited amount of dental it's laughable!! I recommend Manhattan life plans!! Affordable and bigger benefit amounts! Up to 3K now. I'm 57, but when I turn 62 I'm getting Manhattan. That way I'm fully vested in plan come medicare age 65. Thanks Frank - I’m a big fan of the Manhattan Life dental/vision/hearing plan too! 🦷

      I liked the Manhattan plan too but instead went for a dental discount plan with Aetna. It works very well for our needs.

      @youngtimer964 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And forgot to mention that the Aetna plan does require that my dentist (that we love!) stays in it. If she doesn’t, we’ll opt out of Aetna’s plan and do something else.

      In 2024 Aetna is offering plans with no network limitations as high as $3000 as DRM that I've noticed.

      I bought a separate dental plan from Delta. It's $3000 a year. (these days a $500 annual limit isn't going to do much for people) :-O

    This coverage is extra and yes you do have to paid a monthly premium. You have to pay for root canals $278 and crowns $453. Other extra coverage insurance may give you $400 quarterly. So if your amount that quarter is $1,500 they pay $400 and your part is $1,100. If you are retired how can you paid for this specially if the dentist you pick tells you that they don’t take monthly payments plan because they only accept the whole payment before he do any of the job you need to be done. Why Medicare choose this unscrupulous doctors that by the way probably have used my taxes to go to school and they’re not giving back to the community. We retired ppl aren’t asking for anything Free, just humanity. Medicare needs to revised their dentist list. 😡😡😡
