I have no idea if this has been thought of or planned but i think itd be SUPER interesting if it was later revealed Alan *was* embraced.
The possibility of a Lasombra Lysander or a sort of illegitimate heir to the Lysander Line if Dorian got uppity feels like it may have been too good on an opportunity for Silas Senior to pass up. Whether the Prince even know about it...?
But as always Ms Magitek is running a great show, I'm excited to hear more in the future, and hope everyone's irl commitments go smoothly
For the uninitated, basically silas junior uncovered that the lysanders vampire wise,go back to a Methuselah,perhaps even one of the direct childer of ventru himself,and to further that, whoever silas senior has,presumably buried in torpor beneath lysander manor or somewhere else is old, probably a very old elder or god forbid a straight up Methuselah.
For a bit of context, Methuselahs are vampires in the world of darkness who are just a step below the antidliuvians,the original founders of the clans. Typicaly 4-5th gen, Methuselahs are world shaking beings.
For example,Menele,a brujah and childer of troile had been feuding with helena because helena helped sold carthage out to the roman ventrue,and Menele fought her in pompeii, and menele WILINGLY ENTERED FRENZY AND ERUPTED VESUVIUS. If you think thats insanity
Ur shulgi,a Methuselah whos the direct childer of haqim,the founder of the banu haqim,with basically a snap of his finger dispelled the curse that the tremere put on them and took over a lot of the banu haqim.
*possible spoiler here* In the ventrue clan book is a vampire named Lysander,he was 5th gen if i remember correctly. He was a powerful warrior from Greece and helped destroy Carthage in punic wars so that checkes out with Willows vision from previous episode, so my bet is thats him we are dealing with here, since there is no mention what exactly happened to him, only that he vanished.
Wouldn't all Ventrue be a direct descendant of Ventrue? and likewise for all the other clans with their respective originators?
I feel like I missed what was big about the big reveal

Every antidliuvian aka clan founder embraced childer. These childer,and that of there own are the decendents of ventru.
If the implications are to be believed,silas senior has an elder of the Lysander family,one whos sire is traced back to one of the original embraced by ventru.
Elders and Methuselahs are city shaking entitys,there very presence could cause hell for some citys,for example,chicago being cought between menele and helena for instance.
Meaning if silas senior was able to get his hands on blood magic,he could probably wake the ancient lysander and all hell would break loose. It's basically a red button type situation,if shit goes sideways and the elder gets out and awake,things could be dangerous for the siblings very fast

@@lolbots686Yeah, the reveal that that's who they have in a basement somewhere is certainly huge, I meant more the "Dorian and Dad are the descendants of Venture" felt idk, obvious to me? but also I'm a player who's read the book and this may be an example of the in world vampires not being forthcoming with information about Generations, Caine, Antideluvians etc
So good guys this just keeps getting better and better in context sleepy Lysander should be less powerful than Ur-Shulgi, Baba Yaga or Odin but at least we know it should be 4th or 5th gen Methuselah right or am I crazy??!!! I mean the thirst alone of it waking up is just terrifying!! Now that’s a Nuke!!! Love it!!! ❤❤
So we're hinting that the Family nuke is a 4th generation? Being a Childer of Ventrue would mean 4th beacuse the Antideluvians were 3rd gen.
3rd gens are wacky they are walking natural disasters. Literally stats strong enough that they could basically stroll in sunlight. The Antideluvian of Ravnos, when he reawoke, literally required the combined efforts of werewolves, technocracy, multiple kindred clans, the asian kindred and beast shifters, and even second inquisition, iirc to kill him.
I'm very interested in how strong a 4th generation will be depicted if we ever see them.
Methuselah is often referred to as the 4th or 5th generation, and I think the 5th generation would be ideal for the story of the ancestor. Mega power, but not necessarily a child of the antediluvian.
YAY! They have to be able to kill dad! MURDER! YAY! :-P Also, Momobee is AMAZING with her character, Machiavelli, and cosplay. Also, look at MIss_Magitek in a simple colored white shirt and black blazer, she looks great! To me when a woman can go out (as I do mostly) In simple, easy (yet business casual/professional) looks they're saying "I'm me. I'm good with me. Here I am, take a look, if you don't like it, I don't care!"! Miss Magitek could probably make a burlap sack look like designer fashion though; besides that, she's a wonderfully smart & creative performer AND storyteller, in her own right & I love that not only is she getting a chance to shine, but sharing that chance with others - none of whom disappoint! TY to all the cast and crew who bring us MagiRPG & give us more! :-)

Yeah ,so the feeding type usually is a story hook. Getting your preferred type, gives you the chance to have explosive emotions. Like really feel- what the vitae is feeling
