I just got one of the newer re-release of the set and Brawl now comes with rubber treads. This also allows the wheels to collapse into the leg. Much better.
You need to drop these TFs videos on Saturdays. Leave the riff raff stuff on the weekdays. Like that theres something interesting to watch. 😂. This is the only thing i wanna watch. And your reviews are a big help for me to pull the trigger.

You can pull the turret further out, but you have to loosen a screw to do so.

@11:40 Yes Bobby the barrel can fully extend and hinge up and down. I did that with mine, BUT it takes a lot of force to slide out. Enough to worry you that it'll break

This whole Bruticus situation depresses me. I think UT is doing a magnificent job with bot modes but the combined mode worries me. Zeta is doing the reverse and putting all their eggs in the Bruticus basket. These bot modes suck.
The combined mode so far is very stable. And looks great. I have all 3 and I have put hem together. Feels great.
i have faith in this combined mode
Thats why it's best you save up for both sets
Zeta could have at least given him a matte finish..
I think I made the right choice by getting the Unique Toys versions.
But what if Fanstoys do Bruticus after Superion? 😰
at 60$ a finish might be asking too much
Zeta makes great Butter Bots. That combine mode is amazing, but her bots.....woof.

I know I'm in the minority but I love this and in all modes. But, I love my bots like I love my women, big and chunky! LOL Big, chunky, clunky bots need love too! Sweet review and I'm indeed looking forward to combined mode more than anything else.

OMG..... This guy is a bit chunky but I love him... especially the later versions. I'm SOOOOOO glad they changed the tracks... I couldn't stop laughing watching them flapping all over. How do you do a review like that?? Good stuff

Did you zoom the camera in closer for transformation? I could see what you were doing a lot better. Sculpted tank tracks would have been just fine for me too. Great review Sir Skullface!

This figure looks pretty good pretty solid despite the tracks which I can look past and I’m going to have to because I accidentally ordered this thing twice but that’s my problem anyway awesome review as always i always look forward to your videos

Just got my figure today. Have you noticed that you can take the front panels off the legs to access the track to fold it up? Discovered it by accident. And the turret gets jammed up because the pieces seperate, if you give them a squeeze then they should allow you to slide the turret out completely to allow the hinge to work.
Also discovered that if you orient the tracks so the bars face the rear of the tank on both sides that they tend to roll much better without popping off. Mine came with the tracks on left facing rear and the ones on the right facing forward and those ones popped apart when i rolled them.

They really needed to do a better job on those treads. Maybe add that clip that held the Toyworld tracks together. Then be able to bend them. Can you add the vid on removing the treads.

Oh man that's a shame. The tank mode is beautiful and the fact the treads roll is amazing but dear lord that robot mode is a mess. A shame because I love treads that roll, but that just ain't worth it.

The barrel needs a really good tug to get all the way out and then it will rotate up and down :)
Also the hatches on the top will open.

I really like this scale as it actually looks like a tank and tank mode looks very good. The Robot mode is meh for sure those tracks were a dumb idea for sure. This dude is going to be huge as a combiner like maybe bigger than Toy World Devastator? Personally I think they should be that big. Looking forward to whats next. Great review as always!

Eyes on the price! Eyes on the price! Bruticus is the end game. That's what I keep telling myself. Already have Blast Off and Vortex and getting this guy this week. Thanks for sharing the "removing the track locks" trick. I was starting to see myself engulfed in blind rage and smashing this guy on a wall. 🤣 But his leg mode brings me so much hope and joy. This Bruticus is going to be so fricking cool! 🤘

So far they have been decently priced. I just hope that doesn't change with their Onslaught. But I'll understand if it gets priced a bit higher. After all, he will come with the extra parts to complete the Gestalt combination. I just hope the difference in pricing isn't that much.

I can confirm that you only need 33 links ( 49 -16) to have the tracks fit snugly on the legs.

Feel like the width of the tank mode is too skinny, but it looks like they nailed the leg mode. I can't wait to see this completed.

I love the tank mode, leg mode looks great, but jesus, those treads. I m glad that there is the 16 link work around, but, as you said, it did not have to be there. I totally would have been fine with molded treads and small wheels as so many transforming tanks have utilized in the past. I get it, this sets them apart, great idea, just not the best execution.
But, hey, once I get Swindle and Onslaught, Brawl and the others are no longer going to be individual bots anyway, so in the end, it's, as you say, fine. Thanks for the heads up on the link removal, Bobby! I look forward to getting mine in hand very soon. Solid review, as always.

Elbow goes much further man, it just catches there, same for the tank barrel so it can articulate up and down. I painted the head and thighs cos he's so plain (visor paint sucked on mine, got a nice metallic orange now), and those tracks, yeesh. All about the bruticus tho, I still with you there.

I have seen a youtuber have him without tracks. I'm thinking of doing that too. It doesn't change the look.

They're called COMBATICONS for a reason!!! I am normally a stickler for generation one detail and streamline but with the Combaticons I want them big I want them a little bulky and I want them to be rough as long as they don't break and I get hold of maintain if they were nice streamlined and smaller I wouldn't believe Bruticus could be so huge and imposing I like this style also the Aerialbots look amazing!!!!! I am loving Zetas work can't wait to see the stunticons or the Predacons I like trans missions stunticons a lot I haven't liked any of the other combiner says that they put out so yeah I like to see what they do with Menasor and Predaking
I heard a rumour that part of UT's Blast-Off seperates to become a 'toon-style Bruticus chest. Wondered whether you'd changed your mind over which set for combined mode - particularly after UT's Onslaught chose a wierd aesthetic for 'bot mode?
I think that those of us who are all in on Zeta are all in based on size of the figures. Me personally I want all my combiners to scale with Constructor.

I removed the links and it’s so much better but I’d have rather not have dealt with it. I would much rather have them painted his moutplate red (which I already did) and maybe added some more accents.

Everyone getting this Zeta Bruticus is taking a HUGE gamble on combined mode because imo the individual robots are trash. great review as always

you need to hold the root of the turrent and pull it out. then you can rotate the turrent up and down.

I like it. Although I won't be getting it. I'm happy with my small 3rd party combiners. Personally I think this could have benefited from parts forming with regards to the whole tank tread issue. I'm a big fan of the tank mode on this.

This is both the best and worst time to be a Bruticus fan cause I’m swimming in a pool of figures but my wallet is screaming at me in defiance.

Those tracks are a nightmare
Looks ok, not perfect, but looks ok I'm bot, alt, & leg modes. But those treads mac, come on! Zeta could've done better with those, least in bot mode, cuz they are SUPER LOOSE! All in all, looks ok, in the game.

How hard are the links to remove?
Does anybody know if Transformers Kingdom is a reputable store, I ordered some stickers from them on the 5th of January and I'm still waiting.

Was this figure frustrating to transform thus resulting into all the cut shots? Or will this be your new way of business? I don't dig the cuts personally, but great review man.
i cut often but im getting in tighter. people usually skip my transformations so im trying to make some improvements
Bobby Skullface L I watch your reviews specifically for the transformations, especially on harder bots. I also value your opinions before buying a new figure. Some of the other reviewers are just a little bit too enthusiastic about, ... everything, so to speak.
I think Zeta had a falling out with Toyworld because Toyworld actually demanded their figures have good build quality. We are getting Revell model plastic, fingers falling out, Kibble not holding together. The constructicons were so much higher quality. This is trash.
I must love trash because mine is pretty much perfect. (except the treads, but the 33 links for the bot mode works perfectly) It feels good, it looks good and I can't stop handling this figure. This being trash or not is subjective, not absolute, but you could say I guess, one man's trash is another man's treasure because, for me and my copy, this is gold. I have nothing but respect for your opinion, but it indeed seems we have a very different experience with this figure and that's alright.
Hi Dolkkar, as Bobby would say if you like it you win. I know most people want these Zeta figures for the payoff of the combine mode in the end which is understandable, but myself I am looking to enjoy the bot modes as well. I have had issues with each of the Zeta figures I have gotten with build quality. I was expecting the same quality as their constructicons (which I love) and these don't have it. I know they are cheaper in price, but personally I wouldn't mind paying 100 dollars per figure if the figure had the quality of the TW Constructicons.
It's unfortunate that you've had a lackluster experience with these Zeta figures. I get that not everything is for everyone, but to be honest, I love these bot modes, absolutely love them. As I've said, I do enjoy all modes equally, so it boils down to personal taste. I'm wondering why yours feel so cheap, I have TW Constructor too and to me, these feel on par with them.

He looks kinda knock off cheap. Got the same narrow shoulders as the other not-brawl had
kevin jones it's quite easy just to pull the shoulders apart as if your about to pop his head down. That way you have a nice wide chest look. Add a deception symbol right dead center and he will look amazing.
He's definitely not "knock off cheap" in hand. Really solid in pretty much all 3 modes. Only irritating this is the treads of course

Ok now I am really worried that there is something wrong with me because I actually like all 3 modes and do not think the robot is as bad as you make it look and sound! I just do not see it as a bad bot I think it looks like brawl.

I've seen that you can open up the chest as if you where about to pop the head down and that gives him a nice wide beefy robot mode with no issues as far as shoulder articulation goes. Add a symbol on the exposed grey area and he looks the part of a brawler.

And just had some inspiration. You can use the tread removed for robot mode to make a chest ammo belt when shoulders are in wide mode. Brawl meets Rambo. Thats how im displaying him from now on
