As for the call of action at the end of this. I think the best fans can do right now is to lobby ESPN or their favorite streaming service to carry live women's league soccer games. Because yahoo sports is not a good platform and most of us are too busy to fly across the country to watch their games. I would pay for that in a heartbeat.

Not to be too witchy about it but honestly, the USWNT gave birth to the notion of soccer as a fully legitimate sport in the U.S.
