You guys rock!! Please keep the F1 and F1 Ultra videos coming. You are helping me so much!! Thank you!
Thank you so much! Glad we can help!
This is genius. Thank you ❤
Great tip! I always wondered why the workspace in XCS wasn’t the same height as the calculated perimeter. Makes sense now and happy it is bigger.
Thanks so much! Yeah we just hope that a framing option comes to XCS in a future update for the center of the design.
Thanks for the video. I've been hesitant starting my tumblers.
You can do it! It’s one of our favorite things to do with the F1. Dollar store tumblers are great for practice!
My tumbler logos are a little distorted - using the rotary tool - and a 20oz yeti
Hm are you getting the cup size by measuring around or getting the diameter?
I use the same concept but put logos to the back of the tumbler if there is one and put my logo on 180° from main engrave.
Yup! Great option too!
Is there a video that shows how to do this if you want a design on both sides but the tumbler brand name is only on one side? When I do this the engraving starts from where the dot is so I have to manually mark it out on the cup.
these tips and tricks are great for me as I am visually impaired. Everything in my world is flat, 2D so it's hard for me to judge distance and centering is a nightmare for me
We are so happy that we can help!
Great video would like to see a white mug engraving on f1 if ya get chance please. Just got my ra2 pro. Not switched it on yet. Lol
I have the S1 and the 20oz yeti tumblers are tricky to do as the are not a straight tumbler
Thank you Thank you thank you !
Before making the 2nd pass using IR do you hit framing again or just start process and it will recenter ?
Hey no we don’t run framing again just start the process again
@ when I reran it using the IR it still left the engrave dull? Any tips? Also is the IR visible? I couldn’t see the laser or a change in the engraving from just using the blue light?
@@tinaharlow4508not sure if you still need help but what works for me is first pass blue 100p, speed 350 , LPC 220 then IR , 70p, 400 speed and LPC 220 .
When you do two passes per tumbler, is there a way to set it up to do the two passes with one set up or do you set the blue laser pass and wait for it to finish and then set the IR laser pass?
Yes there is! You do need to be on the newest version. But essentially you duplicate your design, change the layer so they are different and then stack them on top of each other (If you select both and do align horizontal and vertical that works the best) then all you have to do is set the layer that’s on the top of your layer panel to the blue light settings and the one below that to the IR settings. Next you deselect the layers and you will see on the right side an option to change “Processing Path” change that to “By Layer” and you should be good to go. It will do the first blue light pass then reset and do the IR pass. Hope that makes sense and helps! If you run into issues let us know and maybe we can make a video describing that next time we do a tumbler engraving.
Okay, I got the latest software and was able to figure it out with your video. Now with the latest software, how do we do opposing logos? Your last video you had, worked like a charm.
Hmm you should still be able to do it with the latest version? Does the method in this video not work for you? What version are you running?

do you guys have a discount code for Xtool products that would also help your channel out???
Currently we don’t have one but maybe that is something we can look into with them! We will let you know if we get one!
@VelfCreations Perfect! I was about to order an F1 and remembered about your channel. I'll wait until you get one and they have another sale to order.
I appreciate the quick response!
Do you have a link for the ra2 laser pointer?
It’s in the description it’s part of an accessory bundle
Where did you get the laser module for the RA2? I didn't see it on the xtool website.
It’s part of xTool accessory bundle. Unfortunately I don’t think they sell the laser on its own.

Muchas gracias
what if I have a handle?
Hi 👋 Hmm that might be a bit trickier. We typically buy tumblers with removable handles but might have to think about this one 🤔
Feeling a little defeated here lol. I followed this tutorial and it’s not centering the object perfectly when framing. The trick for the top line works perfectly. When I frame that, it’s perfectly centered. But when I line up the object to be engraved centered with the bottom of the ruler, it’s off a bit to the right. Any ideas?
Hmm, my first thought would be to double check that your perimeter underneath the chuck and the height of the ruler match.
This way it took my f1 1 hour to record one side. 30 minutes with blue laser and 30 minutes with infrared laser. I am doing something wrong? Use the same parameters.
