About Us first formed in the winter of 2019, with the members having spent the last 15 years or so in different bands and projects before coming together. Their collective musical taste runs the gamut from AOR, hard rock, metal, and more, with all of these varied influences reflected on their debut album. The band released their first single ‘Loaded Love‘ in late December 2020 followed in April 2021 by their first music video, “Gimme Gimme”. The music video reached almost half a million viewers in a short time and was heralded by the editor of a popular daily in their area, Morung Express, who declared "ROCK IS BACK". The song subsequently won two back to back awards in the Best Rock category at the MG Nagaland Music Awards (June 23, 2021) and the Music Awards of Nagaland (October 16, 2021). Wrapping up a busy 2021 for About US, the band released their self-titled debut album in their home country and a second music video, 'Right Now'. @@TitoKYeptho Although Polar Lights is an amazingly talented band, I doubt that they'll fit into Frontiers' catalogue and the trype of music they promote which mostly falls under Melodic Hard Rock, AOR, and Melodic Metal. Both amazing bands though and love them both 😍🤘🏽

Yes people from Northeast frontier have altogether different look and culture. There are tons of TH-cam videos on Northeast India and also Nagaland, the place the band are from. Check it out. India is way too diverse ... They are from Northeast part where people are more mongoloids and Christian dominated region.. Very different from typical Indians you see in media ... Nagaland is a state where English is the state language even though they have their own common dialect and different dialects from different tribes .. Every Nagas generally can speak 5 languages easily.. Anyways , yes, culturally and traditionally different from other parts of India where even other parts also differs but they are Indians ... This is India , Land of diversity !

It's good to see singers/groups/songwriters from other countries getting a chance. He has a great singing voice. Mostly it is just usually singers/groups from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia that get some wide exposure, maybe. But, there are talented people all over the world, literally. Australian singer Delta Goodrem co-wrote her first hit song, "Born To Try" with a man who had moved to Australia from Zimbabwe. Former Kamelot lead singer, Roy Khan's father was from Thailand. I have heard songs written/co-written by people of Turkish American descent, a Bulgarian songwriter who co-wrote a song (Poli Genova - "One LIfetime is Not Enough") competing to be Bulgaria's entry into Eurovision years ago (2009) with an American songwriter, etc. There are so many talented people out there.
This was amazing and just proves that amazing music can come from anywhere, as long as there are still people passionate about rock! @ 3:40 when all three guitarists play, had a bit of a Dream Theater vibe to it. Very nice! I can't wait to hear the whole album!
