Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the signing of About Us, an exciting new melodic hard rock band hailing from Nagaland, India, and more specifically from a district in the state of Nagaland called Wokha (‘Land of Plenty’). Their Frontiers' debut, a self-titled release, will be released later this year, but today fans can get their first taste of these exciting new melodic rockers with the single and music video 'Right Now'. About Us first formed in the winter of 2019, with the members having spent the last 15 years or so in different bands and projects before coming together. Their collective musical taste runs the gamut from AOR, hard rock, metal, and more, with all of these varied influences reflected on their debut album. The band released their first single ‘Loaded Love‘ in late December 2020 followed in April 2021 by their first music video, “Gimme Gimme”. The music video reached almost half a million viewers in a short time and was heralded by the editor of a popular daily in their area, Morung Express, who declared "ROCK IS BACK". The song subsequently won two back to back awards in the Best Rock category at the MG Nagaland Music Awards (June 23, 2021) and the Music Awards of Nagaland (October 16, 2021). Wrapping up a busy 2021 for About US, the band released their self-titled debut album in their home country and a second music video, 'Right Now'.
The band eventually found their way to Frontiers Music Srl, who were deeply impressed with their innovative take on the melodic rock genre. Prepare for a huge breath of fresh air upon the scene when About Us' self-titled debut album lands later this year with a proper global release.

@@TitoKYeptho Although Polar Lights is an amazingly talented band, I doubt that they'll fit into Frontiers' catalogue and the trype of music they promote which mostly falls under Melodic Hard Rock, AOR, and Melodic Metal. Both amazing bands though and love them both 😍🤘🏽

What Ben has said is not only true but a point too aptly put, which is why I honestly believe we still have time to be proud of our state. I remember this band coming and singing in hotel Lake Shilloi when I was working back in 2021 ... I was really attracted by the band when sing 'gimme gimme' ❤ and I still also love listening to our local bands .. about us ,polar lights etc.

This band makes the kind of music that I like, so I love it
It's good to see singers/groups/songwriters from other countries getting a chance. He has a great singing voice. Mostly it is just usually singers/groups from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia that get some wide exposure, maybe. But, there are talented people all over the world, literally. Australian singer Delta Goodrem co-wrote her first hit song, "Born To Try" with a man who had moved to Australia from Zimbabwe. Former Kamelot lead singer, Roy Khan's father was from Thailand. I have heard songs written/co-written by people of Turkish American descent, a Bulgarian songwriter who co-wrote a song (Poli Genova - "One LIfetime is Not Enough") competing to be Bulgaria's entry into Eurovision years ago (2009) with an American songwriter, etc. There are so many talented people out there.
