Excactly, the pot and pan thing is to assist those who have mental issues during the lock down to make them feel like they are a part of their own messed up ways. I respect the NHS, no need to go outside banging pots and pans, it is like I say for the weak who feel they are doing something by undertaking it every Thursday. The mental health of the UK is on a knife edge now. Again, blame the Government for shutting everything down. The biggest problems come after the blown out of proportion Covid-19 passes, then we will see what the UK is really about wont we.

This country is so screwed thanks to our post industrial society. The fact we don't make medical equipment or PPE or even make the ambulances. This pandemic has exposed how weak our country is without a sufficient manufacturing industry.
@Mr Krispy I don't think that military might is the main concern regarding China. Even with their vast resources, closing the gap against the US military, is nigh on impossible even for them. The CCP has been quietly waging economic war with the West for decades though, without a single shot being fired. It's no coincidence that most of their investment in the West is in critical infrastructure, like power stations, water companies, and tech and telecommunications. At the rate we're enabling the CCP, they'll soon be able to undermine us from within, without any need for soldiers and battlefields.
