- The Denver Broncos are gearing up to face the Las Vegas Raiders, but before we dive into the latest injury updates and drama surrounding the matchup, we need to address the Kansas City Chiefs latest attempt at bending the rules. While we've seen plenty of questionable calls, often favoring Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce (Swift), this recent development goes beyond just officiating errors and seems to point directly at the league office. Have you found the lack of clarity around Rashee Rice’s injury on Sunday suspicious? There's been widespread speculation online that the Chiefs might be trying to manipulate the situation-acting as though Rice is on short-term IR so that he could serve a potential suspension this season rather than missing both this year and part of next. Now, it's out in the open, with Mike Florio reporting that this is exactly what the Chiefs are trying to pull off. Suspending their top wide receiver during a time when he’s not physically able to play is a blatant loophole, and I really hope Roger Goodell doesn't allow this to happen.

Devonte Adams has reportedly requested a trade, his coach liked an Instagram post suggesting Adams has already played his last game for the Raiders, and today, Adams posted a picture of Edgar Allan Poe, hinting at a possible trade to the Baltimore Ravens. This comes the same week that Antonio Pierce was named the "ringleader of multiple recruiting violations" with NCAA sanctions looming. With all this chaos swirling around, the Raiders are clearly distracted, and I expect that to show on Sunday. I’m confident the Broncos will take advantage and win by at least two scores.

Rashee Rice should be in jail, racing his cars on a public highway, dodging through traffic at over 118 miles per hour at 6:00 at night. Reckless endangerment, refusing aid for injuries, leaving the scene of an accident to name only a few felonies that anyone else would have lodged against him.
The worst part is the league ALREADY allowed Rice to play THIS season saying we will wait for the legal process when you already KNOW he fled the scene

The chiefs are cool with shady people as players and coaches. Rice shouldn’t have even been allowed to play at the beginning of the season, 119 mph crash with six cars and then running away from the scene without seeing if anyone of the victims needed help. He should be in prison. Chiefs brought michael vick to coach after he’d already been convicted of brutal abuse of and killing of dogs for dog fighting, he is human trash and I don’t care if he was the greatest qb in the universe, I would not want him close to my team. Kareem hunts back, chiefs decided that him kicking the shit out of his girlfriend on camera is no reason to not pay him millions again. Oh and what happened with andy reid’s own son who was a part of the coaching staff?? The raiders may have the edge in games won in this division matchup… but who has the edge in Super Bowl appearances and wins? Raiders are 5/3 The Broncos are 8/3. The last time the Raiders went to a Super Bowl was in 1983… 41 years ago. So crow about the division wins… the Broncos are the most successful team ever in the AFCWest, and that includes the Chiefs. Mahomes is to the NFL what Favre was in the late 90's and early 2000's. And what Brady was after that. Superb QB's, 1st ballot hall of fame guys, no doubt. But holy hell you'd think they were the 2nd coming of Jeebus Crispy himself. And we have seen the special treatment on full display for multiple decades now, so anyone denying it is either willfully ignorant or just a bald-face liar.
End of the day, it's a business. For a business to grow, they have to attract more customers. They already have everyone who loves football, so they have to attract casuals now. What better way to bring in 13 year old girls, a demographic they've literally never had, than to make their effective goddess's husband the "winner" face of the league?
Mahomes is stupid good, no one who's not an idiot would say otherwise. But holy hell do the league and the zebras go out of their way to make sure everyone knows it, even to the point of guaranteeing it from within.
The NBA did this with "superstar" calls, and ended up losing actual basketball fans for a long time (still, honestly). The NFL is going to lose people who love football the same way. And the casuals won't stick around for long either. Dark days are coming for the league, is all I'm saying.

Don't doubt the Raiders. The Broncos lost both games the year Jon Gruden's emails and the year Josh McDaniel got fired. In 2021, the Broncos also lost when the game they honored Mike Shanahan. The Raiders still care about this rivalry, and it's just another game to the Broncos.
