Using action plans to promote exercise adherence

- There's often a large gap between what our clients want to do and what they end up doing. Less than half of the people to make intentions to exercise end up following through. One strategy for bridging this gap is to create implementation intentions, also known as action plans. These turn out to be an easy, cheap, effective way of helping clients adhere over the long term.
