Heikki Mikkola is legendary motocross rider from my country Finland. So cool to see this bike on your channel.
Heikki Mikkola is the whole name. Asuu Lopen Läyliäisissä. Maailman kovimpia crossi kuljettajia. Nice to see Heikki's bike there👍☺️
@@reijotiihonen9312Juu niin on tuli kirjoitusvirhe.😄
Saw the "Flying Fin" race back in the day in person. I bought a new'74 250CR, was virtually identical to the World Champ bike of '73. The bike shop ported and polished it to factory race team specs and put a handmade pipe on it. I copied all the trick lightening techniques of the time and made replica works parts for it. Miss the castor bean oil, smell. Ah, the days of racing with 4" travel suspension !
Cool bike. I have a 77 WR360. All original real nice shape.
The best man. The 2 cycles mix perfect and also the sound.
That is one gorgeous and rare bike. Love the purple paint on the gas tank, along with the chrome. Much too beautiful to ride.
The best man. The 2 cycles mix perfect and also the sound. That bike is almost 50 my year 1975 😂
Beatiful bike, real pristine. God bless CAPTAIN KAPLAN AMÉRICA and all staff. AMÉRICA GREAT AGAIN
Thanks , Heikki mikkola great champion in the seventies, a never forget this men , super years in history of moto cross , fan Henri put Belgium 🇧🇪 thanks again 👍👍👍
That purple! The old school colors together are pleasing to the eyes!
That Husky sounds so sweet!!!
Ken Kaplan has the best classics dirt bikes on the East Coast. Thank you for the monster Monday RRRRRRRRRIP THE HOUSE OFF THE FOUNDATIONS 💪 GREAT FILMING RONNIE NUMBER ONE ON THE EAST COAST Husqvarna monster Monday legendary💎🏆
I had the privilege of watching men race on motocross tracks in the woods outside of Frankfurt in West Germany from '75 to '77, some tracks with trees pressing against either side, no where to go if you fell, looked absolutely terrifying at their WFO speeds. But afterwards the gladiators would gather and banter and load up their chariots for next time, back when Heikki was the heavyweight champion of the motocross world on his OG Husky. 😀
I remember seeing Kent Howarton ride. That model many times before moving to factory Suzuki. My friend Mark robalard from a metheun mass who was New England champion. A few times on a factory can am. Had just signed with factory huskavana through Mike Guerra when he tragically passed.
Cap,, I broke my back and got a spinal cord injury in 1995 on my BULTACO 1971 360 El Bandido. it was like brand new awesome and I lived in Wisconsin out on the dirt roads! Be careful running your bikes IN Tall Grass! because I hit an obstacle I was not aware of😮. IME STILL WALKING AND RIDING BY GODS GRACE.
A large rock hiding in tall grass caused me a dislocated hip, when I was 20. 10 years to heal! At 62, I'm still riding road and dirt. : )
I had that bike in 1978.I Was 16 started racing .Had Fox shocks .Then Went to Montessa 250 then CR250 Honda.
Fast bike wish I kept it.
Kaplan makes Husqy great again! I am surprised by the explosiveness in the upper rpm range.
Husqvarna, CZ, Montessa, and Bultaco. It’s amazing that two of these bikes are still made.
Husky in name only. But the Austrian's do the name justice as I believe the technology advancement progression would have been about the same. The Swedes probably would have stayed with Ohlins over White Power for the suspension 'tho.
@@ronald8673Sure. And Montessa too. Probably 💯 Honda but I don’t know.
Another great lookin Husky @ Kaplan…I saw Mikkola at the US Grand Prix @ Carlsbad in the 70’s, i saw him on a Husqvarna from 1970 to 1976 then he jumped to the Yamaha team in 77 and won the 500 World Grand Prix Championship…the “Flying Fin” was an awesome motocross rider and World Champ! 🤙🏼
What an AWESOME old bike..
Miss the holies, but love the 2 stroke big bores! ❤
Beautiful 😃
Dreamed of this bike and its power.
Love the sound !
Oh, and RIP the great Bobby Allison.
💯
Awesome! I wish off road bikes still had big seats. All the new bikes feel like I am riding a razor blade.
Chuck is the Man!
That beauty rips! Ken, your slow speed woods riding skills are highly honed. These diamonds are showcased with great respect
The rear shocks are almost bottom out just riding it around. Needs heavier rate springs or a much lighter rider. I had a 76 WR360.
Beautiful.
wow....
Ken ,I have never seen one of these bikes. It sounds Great ,ya look good on it Ken.
🐝🏁 Video 👍 fun motorcycle to ride 😎 cool old motocross
Sweden ❤
A real awesome 2 wheeled machine.

my friend had a 250 husky it was so fast they at the moto cross race they made him pull it apart to prove it was a in fact a 250 he wpon that race0 he beat
all of them real bad
He was a big strong boy he’d ride a 500 like it was a 125
unobtainuem
Heiki= Hay-kee, although I've heard some say Hi-kee...
@@RandomPrecisionMotors Heik-ki=Heikki😁
He pronounced it Hi kee.
Bad ass bike . We called them hitlers back when we got our hands on them. ..
Swedish...Has nothing to do with scum Nazi
Who would’ve ever thought that Husqvarna would make E bikes. I’ve got one and it is bitching. I had a 71 wr 250 Husqvarna and a 72 450 CR. The 450 was a hill climber with a huge sprocket on the back didn’t climb very well so damn light. Happy trails.
Husqvarna E bikes are actually KTM now because they own Husqvarna. Ktm is only known today because they bought Husaberg and copied their engine to make fourstroke dirtbikes. It’s sad that KTM killed Husaberg. Husabergs bikes very best dirtbikes, enduros and supermotos better quality than any other manufucturer.
Hyvä Suomi
Doesn't sound much different then a RT360!
Iam hard
😂 Mr.Ken Kaplan is a weirdo. Here I thought that stamp collectors were obsessive...🇺🇲moto🪄
