Same but this happened to me at Ulta when my friends and I were discussing which hair dye is best for dark hair and testing hairdryers. They asked us 5 times if we needed help and even went as far as having a security guard watch us from an aisle over.

When I worked a Zellers I had a lady come in to return Charmin because she was incredibly disappointed and angry she had purchased the wrong toilet paper. When I asked her the reason for her return (policy, I truly didn't care lol), she said that she hated the stupid bears on the commercials and proceeded to go on a 10 minute rant about why bears using toilet paper was the most ridiculous thing she'd ever seen. It was incredibly hard not to laugh but now that you reminded me of it I cried laughing!

Fun fact: bears don't rub their ass on a tree. Before they hibernate in the winter they develop a poo "plug" butt plug that is made out of hair and dried poop that plugs up their butt so they wont have to poo all winter. Then when they come out of their cave or whatever they rake that shit out with their fingernails and take the most giant mountainous shit of all winter. Takes them like an hour. My uncle works at the zoo and told me this.

I ordered a Starbucks and I told then my name was Michael. I waited 20 minutes for my order until I realized that they got the name Sam out of it.
Jenna, I use to work at VS. I HATED measuring people. I can see why it's frustrating. But the thing people need to understand is that we were forced to do fittings. The manager would watch and count how many fittings you would do per hour.. If you didn't get X amount of fittings in that hour, it would be recorded and you would lose hours when being scheduled. We were also taught ridiculous ways to initiate a conversation to lead into a bra fitting. Like complimenting something stupid to make people believe we cared. But honestly we were all scared as fuck that we would lose hours of we didn't. I quit that job because if I think your shirt is fucking ugly I'm not going to compliment it just so I can grab your boobs, annoy the fuck out of you, and have to run around the store to find a billion bras that you'll just return in a week anyway because honestly 90% of the fittings are incorrect because it's so awkward....
What a fuck show, I believe all of that. I used to work at Express and it was the same corrupt bullshit. I would get pulled off the sales floor for not throwing extra clothes customers might like over their fitting room doors. We had to do that. They were like Jenna get in the back and start steaming shirts and I was like oh thank god. Or selling X number of "denim" they like openly encouraged you to lie to people that everything looked so amazing on them and ask them to come out so you could compliment them on the fit. If you didn't sell enough jeans or credit cards you would get awful shifts or no shifts. You're better off quitting.

Which is why I'm impatient with them. Most of the time, the people working in stores like that are snarky and look me up and down anyway. I'm not rude, I don't want to ruin anyones day. But they wanna ask me more than once if I need help and my voice falls flat and blunt. I have no patience for people. I work in retail, I totally hate it when customers are just randomly rude or inhospitable, I'm just doing my job. But y'all. If I go up in JoAnn crafts and ask the same person if they need help more than once, they gonna get impatient. Leave. Me. Alone. And I let people know that lol

If the prescription for your eyes is wrong (too weak or too strong) for your eyes then it will make your eye sight worse. They cannot take that risk so they have to re-check your eyes.
You also do need to get your eyes checked every two years to make sure your eye sight hasn't changed AND some places will check that you're not suffering from any eye diseases etc.
They took a picture of the inside of my eye and there's a part that if it gets more swollen I should get an MRI for a brain tumour. That's why I want to go to my Optometrist every two years. That is important information - they should care what your prescription is and if it's changed.
Hopefully Jenna sees this. VERY IMPORTANT EYE HEALTH.

I totally agree with the glasses and contact thing. When I first got contacts, they wouldn't let me bring the contacts home until I put them in and took them out three times in each eye. I couldn't do it and I sat there for two hours until my eyes were so red and irritated that I was crying. I had to leave and come back two more times because I couldn't do it... So annoying. "Medical tool" my butt.
Same happened to me. My eyes were red and i was crying because i couldnt put them in and they wouldnt let me have them until i did it

Hi Jenna! At VS we actually do get "bra certified" which means we learn about all types of breast shapes and what bras would work best with that shape. We ask every customer if they need a fitting because 80% of women are actually wearing the wrong size which can make bras uncomfortable! so I'm sorry if you've had a bad experience at your store!

It really bugs me when people say "It pisses me off when retail employees ..." as if they're just doing these things for their health. When you work retail your managers are literally always on your ass to go offer to help customers, and if your sales are down for one day they blame sales associates for not being pushy enough. Retail employees don't come up to you because they think you're stupid and don't know how to shop, they do it because ITS THEIR JOB. They. Have. To. Or they risk. Getting. Fired.
