I’m Liam Harrison, Bolton born and bred. I’m a lover of Golf, life and laughter.
Started Golf 12 years ago after packing in football when i was 28 due to a back injury.
I started the TH-cam channel as a laugh and a Wim, to make me practice but that went out the window as i started vlogging, loving being on camera but more so the interaction with my #golfmates.
In 14 months i have seen the channel evolve and become the only real golf community on TH-cam which i am extremly proud of.
I would like to thank all the #golfmates that have been with us and supported us and the channel from the start. Also not forgetting our new #golfmates that may have only just come across the channel.

I could watch and listen to OMP all day long. His simple and effective tips are great for beginner's as well as seasoned players. It’s videos like this that help the next generation of golfers grow. I’m happy he didn’t hit every shot perfect. As beginners definitely won’t. So knowing it’s ok is a great confidence.

👍 The technical tips are spot on and may take time for people to learn, but the traffic light system is the one that most should take note of and it can be implemented straight away. I see so many shots thrown away by players going for a worldie.

Brilliant and such a good man. I'm 77 but didn't take up golf until 58, so only a 23 Hci. You have taught me more sensible, easy to remember, and completely logical golf tips than all the pros on TH-cam ever have. And not a balloon, beachball, anti-flip stick, old towel or a bottle of Ebeneezer's Universal Cure Snake Oil in sight.

Legend OMP i started using some of his tips a while back were i was constantly shooting mid to high 90s and now i have got myself down to 88 and a CB of 87. So big thanks Pat. From Paul, Belfast.
This is a rewind of lessons from OMP (the gentleman and golf legend and most consistent striker of the golf ball).
I may have seen most of these tips before (except, maybe, putting out of bunkers), but they resonate less coming from a twenty-something hardbody golf professional. But coming from someone like OMP, whose age, swing, and body more closely approximate mine, they really strike a chord, and it has me thinking, "Hmm, I bet I could do that." I'd love to play a round with Pat; he'd likely thrash me soundly, but it would probably turn my game around.

I'm getting back into golf after about a decade away from the game (successful shoulder surgery). I found this channel while looking for swing instructional videos and have been hooked ever since. OMP is my favorite player to watch on TH-cam. He makes the most of his skills by playing intelligently, and not attempting high risk shots. His tip about holding irons without an overly firm grip is a good one. One of the first struggles I had to overcome while finding my swing again was to loosen my grip so that I could "release" the iron. It's a bit counter-intuitive, since most other swinging motions we do for athletics or physical work (think swinging a baseball bat or sledge hammer) require a much firmer grip than golf.
I was a 21 handicapper and started to play omp traffic light system. Since July I have come down to a 16 handicap. Over the last 3-4 months I have listened to the wise words he always shares in videos and used them to improve my game. Thank you OMP.

I'm 51 and had to finally retire from my beloved futbol. My husband talked me into trying golf and for the past year have been really enjoying myself. Definitely hasn't come as natural as futbol but always a work in progress 😜 Thank you OMP for breaking some of the basics down. Glad to see OMP doing well. When I watch his iron and wood shots off the fairway, he looks like he hit down on them at a fairly steep angle. Its minimal effort for good distance. Just great to watch. 👍

Hi golf mates I have just started playing again after a 15 year break, I have joined a golf society who have given me a handicap of 28, they are talking of increasing it to 36 next season.
I think I should take some lesson from OMP and give them a shock when the season starts again next year.

Grip pressure! I try to swing with a 3/10 myself. I found helps tremendously with iron play. Great video guys!

Putting from a bunker! The man is a genius!
I would never have thought to do that in a million years.
Where I play the sand is very firm and can’t always play the usual bunker “ splash shot” so have struggled from bunkers.
Using a putter has never even crossed my mind, I will try that next time I am in that situation.
