Off-Roading w/ a Christmas Tree in Ocotillo!

I stood a Christmas Tree in the bed of my mid-travel Toyota Tacoma so that I could take it off-roading for New Years! It held up through whoops, on the freeway, even accidental air time!

How does 0 preload handle heavy load or how is the truck with passengers in it? Does it sink lower since it has no preload? I’m leaning towards the spindle route on my 2wd 3rd gen.

@@neekshernandez5894 thanks man. I love good Tacoma content, but it's fun as hell having a platform that no one builds. Rear is a 3.0x16 tripple bypasses with bumps, front is baja kitscwith kings and bumps. All custom tuned. Build was finished last week.

Yeah that’s something I’ve been exploring. I have king bumps I attempted to put in last week, but after cycling the suspension with the new hangers in it looks like my lead pack negative arches and stops itself before the bump even comes in contact. So it’s back to the drawing board with bumping the rear

@@desertdime I would get like a shackle flip kit and timbrens in the meantime. Makes a world of difference.

Not sure why but the shackle flip isn’t super popular with these “Prerunner” Tacomas as far as I’ve seen. They stick with after market shackle and hangers and then go spring under.
