Thanks for the hack, and for watching my silly video! I look forward to seeing where Crystal Legacy goes in the future, i definitely enjoyed it. Could Venomoth get Sleep Powder back via level up though? ;)
Something to remember is that this doesn’t set out to make a difficulty hack, but one that feels vanilla while fixing the flaws of the game. Enemy movesets don’t need to be Drayano-level, and stat experience wasn’t on opponents for a long time in the main series. You need to judge it on what it sets out to do, above all else.
Thanks for testing the game. I am one of the testers for the game. This is meant to be a a vanilla experience with changes to make the game more in line with being a fun experience to play. Slight improvements to various storylines, Improvements to Pokémon, and Significantly improving the teams on enemies. We were not setting out to make it difficult instead we were setting out to make it have some edge of challenge but still feel somewhat vanilla. Also, team themes and diversity were a priority over pure difficulty. Thanks for the feedback though and I will convey this to the development team. We love that you tried out the game and any feedback help us improve the experience.
Thanks for your work on the hack! I didn't mean to imply that difficulty should be a priority, though I suppose I did come across that way in the description. I would still say that the team could take more liberties with enemy team building because of no stat exp in order to make the fights more interesting. The enemy teams are certainly improved over vanilla Crystal, so I can't complain about that. I think Koga and Janine are great examples, where Janine's theme seems to be focused around striking fast and hard, while Koga takes a more slow, methodical approach with statuses and Spikes. It was a lot of fun to play, even if poor Venomoth lost Sleep Powder via level up ;)
@imsoready1114 This is the best you can really do with a pure crystal experience without entering Kaito territory imo. I did hundreds of battles in the game against leaders and e4 to learn the ai and the way it prioritizes moves. The limited movepool combined with AI makes for some challenge in designing teams that feel different. And I totally get the criticism lol like I said while the ceiling is much higher in terms of potential if your comparing base game to what we did it is Night and day. I meant no hard feelings I conveyed your thoughts to the testing team already. Thanks for playing the game
@@Aerogod223 That's fair enough, I totally understand. I look forward to seeing where the hack goes, it's got an amazing community already behind it, with folks like yourself who want to make it the best it can be. Best of luck to you and the team!
I get that this is not a difficulty Drayano-level mod, but Mewtwo not having Recover AND Snorlax not having Rest is very sus to me. Especially since this is the FINAL battle which is always meant to be the hardest battle in the game.
Yeah, I was a bit disappointed with just how easy this fight is, even compared to vanilla crystal it's only barely more difficult because of them changing Ghost to special and Dark to physical, which plays a huge role here. I get why they went out of their way to make this fight easy, but like you said for a final battle it's supposed to be tough.
Very much like what you did with Mewtwo being Red. That would have made some sence him being the most powerful physic pokemon from gen 1. Always wondered what Red was doing there all alone...
I love your interpretation but it's more like Red acknowledges you and gives away Mewtwo, just as the other trainers give away the birds after running Red's errand
I just beat red on v1.2.2 on hard mode. I thought it was a good challenge throughout the game. Kept my team at level 69 for red. Video is on my channel 🤭
Realy you made mewtwo without recover? U should lose that battle if mewtwo had a better moveset. And snorlax without rest? If had curse and rest combo..
@@ewijami7915 basically, yeah, i was giving a very simplified version in case you didn't know what EVs were. Stat exp functions a little differently, though; for every stat, stat exp can go from 0 to 65535, and defeated enemy pokemons' corresponding base stat is added to that number. So every stat can increase this way, which gives pokemon with significant stat exp a huge advantage over pokemon without it, such as Houndoom surviving Mewtwo's Submission
Hope you enjoyed and thanks for the feedback!!!

the way you played that switch between houndoom and venomoth to make mewtwo clip himself was insane 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thanks for the feedback! I will consider buffing Red :)
A good choice bumping up Pikachu's level since it is so weak in stats.
This fight still gives me chills every time
Gold memories, crystal version was the first game I owned at 9.
I have to admit that make Mewtwo faint by recoil was a great idea
mans was scared as fk of MewTwo

cheesing out mewtwo was a b****** strat.
Good news, in version 1.2 mewtwo gets recover, so this b**** strat is no longer possible!
I’m a grown man who just laughed at executors name 💀
Mewtwo should’ve been lv 80 imo but otherwise love the change
The Snorlax doesn't have rest anymore? Lmfao. Literally what is the point of amnesia if it can't heal
Doing a soul link hardcore nuzlocke with my bud right now.. 8# attempt keep wiping at lance
missing toxic on mewtwo was a feelz bad moment
The way u Flucht mewto has to be the lamest thing i have ever Seen looool
I love hachi
Why not swap to Eggy? Does Mewtwo have a goated coverage move in addition to Submission?
Mewtwo has Shadow Ball, and Ghost was changed to be a Special type in this hack, so poor eggy would have no chance
Red was Mewtwo all along? Lol
The fact that you just cheesed with the system and still almost lose it’s hilarious.
Nice bussy way to beat mewtwo. Just like using 20 full restores 👍
Pikachu can raise its evasiveness for battle? I'll do the same for my taxes! (Obviously I'm joking)
Hold up did yal make Red Abandoned his Only Mewtwo???
Mewtwo? What's happened with Espeon or Lapras!?
How can i get that crystal legacy for gba simulator?
This is vanilla with all 250 pokemons ? Bcs i rly dont want to play hard rom hack, which is impossible for noob like me to finish 😂
I just beat red on v1.2.2 on hard mode. I thought it was a good challenge throughout the game. Kept my team at level 69 for red. Video is on my channel 🤭
No need switching.
Stop switching
Can you get mew in this rom hack ??
If snorlax uses rest........
Lv 62??
Was this a nuzlock?
Its annoying that you only get the best pokemon at the end of the game. Good job cheesing out the mewtwo
Realy you made mewtwo without recover? U should lose that battle if mewtwo had a better moveset. And snorlax without rest? If had curse and rest combo..
What is stat experience ?
A hidden tracker that increases your pokemon's stats as you defeat enemy pokemon throughout the game
@@imsoready1114 isn't that EVs ?

@@imsoready1114 Oh I see now, thanks for the explanations !
You already lost
Can you accept it..
Did you grind or use rare candys? if you did can you tell me the code
I didn't use Rare Candies. The only times I can recall grinding was in Mt. Mortar before Morty and Victory Road before Rival 5
Gotchu bro:
Crystal Legacy rare candy code for nuzlocking:
01209ED8
