@GunGun-cf3ss a) honestly ishin remake was probably something they put together bc they couldn't make judgement 3 due to chicanery b) apparently the sound team hated remaking all the tracks for kiwami, so I can see them only remaking a handful
Unironically, if someone has the ability to mod in these versions, I'm all for it. Basically, to add FM Sounds Storm Ishin (Richardson/Thomas Glover fight), Battle for the Dream Ishin (Aizawa/Harada Sanosuke fight), With Vengeance Ishin (Awano/Takeda Kanryusai), Oath of Enma Ishin (Kuze/Ito Kashitarou fight), Hailstorm Ishin (Nagakura Shinpachi/Saejima 1st fight) - And hopefully, Pray Me Ishin !!! (Shimano/Yoshida Toshimaro) @Claus I'm rooting for you hermano, that's the last major fight of the game that doesn't have an Ishin version yet. It would be ABSOLUTELY amazing if you eventually cover that one - There's this guy that replaced K2 music with OG Y2 music, so it should be possible.
Speaking of cool mods, there are a handful of mods that greatly enhance the experience. One of them buffs the grappler style to do more damage and it's finally enjoyable to use. Another one let's you find seals in pots and there's other that completely removes Blacksmith and Virtue grinding, which is great. For aesthetics, there's one that focuses on the Saigo and Katsuya fight to replace Town Bully with Rhapsody of Chivalry (biggest sin along the censored check clapping that, of couse, it also has a mod lmao) Those are the ones I use, but there's a lot of cool stuff in Nexus for Ishin Kiwami.
@@eieneidnf I think it's due to massive crunch on SEGA's behalf. They had to develop Ishin Kiwami + Gaiden + IW at the same time. And it shows.
Add in the UE shenanigans. RGG wanted to use it for better daylight physics, but they aren't used to program in UE and that added.. several performance issues, to say the least. Every other RGG game, I can play it on High resolution. Ishin Kiwami needs to be played on Medium or even on Low because the framerate drops are atrocious. I love Ishin because I'm a great fan of the historical setting, but I'd have been ok with the OG PS3 port if they didn't have the time for a remake tbh.
Missed opportunity for them to actually give his Ishin Ancestor the Andre Richardson busted moveset.

Ok, but there's no Y0 style Long battles in Ishin that they could represent. And Ryuji already has an Ishin Version of his Yakuza 2 theme. NOT of his Kiwami 2 theme.

Funniest character to use for Glover. Glover’s portrayal for all 5 seconds in general is funny though. Guess they had only one western character to use and went fuck it make him evil.
